Love this carpet! I chose this as carpeting for my sunroom. I n3eded 8 ft. X 25 foot. It came rolled, not folded, wrapped in plastic Inside a box. The day before laying the carpet, I enrolled it and laid it in the front yard in the sun. This would soften any wrinkles and make it easier to cut to size. I did a rough cut outside. When rerolling to carry into the sunporch, I rolled long ways. Once in the porch, I enrolled, pulled it as tight as possible and let it relax for a while. In the evening, I pulled the carpet to the edges as tight as possible and tucked with tiny nails. The next day was gluing and rolling carpet out. I purchased the suggested roller and 4 gallon bucket of glue. I lifted all the tiny nails, and rolled the carpet in towards the center on both ends. I spread glue with a large putty knife about 2 ft. Wide sections. Unrolled the carpet(pulled tight again). Repeat till each side is completed. Be careful to make sure each 2 foot section that is unrolled is pulled flat of any wrinkles. After each half is unrolled and flat, I started firmly pushing down and rolling out the carpet. I started in the middle and moved towards the outside of each 2 foot section. Repeat till the end. I did see a couple ripples , small (maybe 5 inches). I rolled out and stood on them till the ripples attached to the glue. One ripples was stubborn so I just laid a heavy book on it overnight. In the morning, ripple was gone. The carpet looks fantastic!! Love it! Background info...60 year old female, first time I have laid carpet, and 5 weeks postoperative from shoulder surgery. My doctor would not be happy, lol. ... show more
