  • Almost Unbreakable!: PolyMax PLA is an engineered filament with enhanced toughness, ductility, and durability. This PLA filament is ideal for applications requiring high impact resistance, with mechanical properties comparable to ABS. PolyMax PLA combines excellent strength with great printability.
  • Tangle-Free & Moisture-Free - PolyMax PLA filament is carefully wound to prevent tangling, dried, and vacuum sealed in a resealable ziplock bag with desiccant. Always hold the filament tip to avoid nodes, and use the holes on the spool to help prevent this issue.

  • Love super easy to print and no warping.

If your looking for a strong easy to print material than look no further. I don't recommend it for parts that will be exposed to temps. Over 150°F for any sustained periods of time.

This stuff really is pretty tough. 10x40x5mm bar solid infill is tough enough to loop back on itself without snapping.

Using CHEP’s fast E3V2 cuts profiles with this stuff and getting better prints in a lot less time. I don’t even look at another filament!

  • What to Know
Color: 100 - Polymax Pla 1.75mm Black 0.75kg (H... Size: 0.75kg
Hey All, So, I figured I'd write a review because I had a bad experience with this PLA out of the box but after some tinkering I think I got it. So I went to print a benchy, coming off of HatchBox PLA - and I was getting no layer adhesion - stringing, and general misprints. So, first I adjusted the temperature settings - to no avail. Okay, so how I got it fixed ? 1) Purge the hell out of the nozzle, I pushed about 150mm from my extruder manually to make sure that it was full flow and that I had adequate nozzle pressure heat etc. Once I verified this I went into Cura and started changing some settings. Focus largely on your first layer adhesion - I changed first layer to extra slow about 20/30 mm/s print, first layer heat I bumped up to 215C and full print is 205C. I also changed my bed heat to 50 from 60C, lowering it seems to have helped with the first layer. And, I'm printing the first layer at 125%. I saw it lay down the first layer of 3D Print Benchy - and it seems to look a lot better, will edit the post when I see full print but these seem to be the settings this PLA likes. Run it a little hotter 200-205C for print 215 for first layer, keep the bed at 50C I usually used 60C for Hatchbox, but 50C seems to be better for this. Maybe it needs a hot nozzle cooler bed for good distribution, idk. Hope this helps someone! ... show more

The strength of the printed piece mimicked a molded product. The plastic could be bent without breakage. Very impressed.
