We'd gotten the larger sofa a few years ago and finally decided to round out the living room by getting the smaller one. It's just as beautiful - the leather is just as nice and soft and the quality is excellent. It really does pay to spend more to get quality. The only issue was that since we waited so long (almost 4 years) to get the smaller sofa, the dye lot was slightly different so the colors are not quite the same. This is to be expected. NOTE: The manufacturer does not provide a warranty for Amazon purchases. You should consider buying this item directly from the manufacturer. This sofa is great and met all of my expectations and is great for an overnight guest. The cognac leather looks great and after two years has taken on some nice character. Minor scuffs can be buffed out with a damp cloth. The couch is long enough for a person of any height to stretch out, and when you remove the back cushions the width is comparable to a twin size bed. It honestly seems like a good value for the price that I paid, and based on my experience so far I would consider purchasing other items from Poly & Bark. However, I would probably buy directly from their web site and not from Amazon. When I wrote to ask for a copy of the manufacturer warranty, they promptly informed me that it covers only purchases directly from their website. I was unhappy with the delivery, as it was delivered by one driver with no one to assist him in bringing the very large box inside the house. Therefore it was left on my curb for me to deal with on my own. I suppose this is another reason to purchase directly from the manufacturer, so that you can set delivery expectations before purchase. ... show more

The sofa is very stylish and comfortable. It was extremely easy to assemble with no tools needed. Just screw in 5 legs and place the cushions on. The only drawback is that it smells very musty. I tried to clean it with leather cleaner but it didn't help the smell. I hope this goes away in time. If anyone has any helpful solutions for this problem please comment. ... show more

The only complaint I have is that it is a much lighter tan color rather than a cognac… also, it’s definitely going to scratch easily, but I anticipated that would be the case based on the type of leather.
