  • Good quality and sturdy! Would definitely buy again!
Size: with Slide
Daughter absolutely loved her new House bunk bed with slide. Instructions were not the easiest to follow as it was only pictures and some pictures had a ton of pieces going together and it was easy to do backwards, but got it all together in about 5 hours.

  • Great bed, not so great instructions
Size: with Ladder
Cute and sturdy, my 3yro loves her "big girl" bed. Mom and Dad did NOT LOVE putting it together. It is pretty simple if it were to be written better. Like you do the roof last but it should be done sooner before you put the roof up and on the bed. Unless you're super tall it's hard to get up there. I would recommend 2 people. A lot of the labeling stickers were not on so we did a lot of guess work with which boards fit where... Assembly took us over 8 hours to do. We think if you want to put in the effort and work, totally worth it. Build it where you want it... if you don't moving it is a pain in the bottom. ... show more

  • Best bed ever!
Size: with Slide
The media could not be loaded. I cannot believe this bed was solid wood and perfectly packaged and easy to assemble (with a drill and husband assisting) We priced the same bed at brick and mortar stores that was not solid wood at 2-3x the price. The slide held my butt, and I may or may not have went down a few times, even though it’s a little steep. The only negative is the smell of the paint on the wood, needs a few days to air out, but since it’s for our granddaughter who hasn’t visited her new room yet, it’s no biggie. Comes in two boxes, and in our case a day or so apart. But I’d recommend this bed for any room for any child. The bottom bunk is practically floor level, and I won’t worry about falls, yet the twin size is large enough for me to crawl in and play too! ... show more

  • Cutest bed, BEST customer service!!
Size: with Trundle
Okay, so to start, my package was delivered in terrible shape (fault of the delivery company). Customer service was SO great. She walked me through everything that should’ve been in the broken box, emailed product list, and offered to help me if anything was broken or missing. (Nothing was!) So 5 stars for service alone!! Next, the reviews had me FREAKED out about the time it took to put this thing together. From the time my husband and I started, to completion (including making the beds), it took a total of 3 hours. I highly recommend having the proper tools. We also built the roof on the ground and then added it on top last. It’s seriously the cutest put together, and very good quality. We didn’t have any split wood or scratched paint. I’m so excited for my girls to see it! ... show more

  • This is a Beast to Build!
Size: with Trundle
I bought this set for my grandchildren’s guest room when they come to our house to visit. It’s adorable and since the room is small I can fit 3 of them overnight. However, as cute as it is - it is a beast to build. The instructions are ok. But you do have to guess on a few areas. It is labor intensive and I totally recommend hiring a handyman to build it. Many times I felt like giving up. Total time from start to finish for 1 person is about 8 hours. I built this over 3 weeks. It is solid wood-NO particleboard, which is amazing. I will likely make curtains for the bunk windows to go with the western themed room. I knocked off 2 stars due to the labor intensive build. Otherwise, I’d give it 5 stars. To looks and durability. ... show more

I got this bed a week ago and my son absolutely loves it! We wrapped lights around it and everything. Long time to put together but definitely worth it in the long run!

  • Not bad - Bring Help to Assemble
Size: with Trundle
Bunk Bed with Trundle The Positive + Nice looking + Fair value considering what it offers vs. other products in the same price range + Packaged well (3 boxes) +/- Real wood, but it is very soft and prone to crack! + Kid approved The Negative - Poor instructions - Diagrams only. Instructions are not intuitive in a few areas and one had two minor mistakes - C+ engineering - Decent, but many small changes would simplify and expedite the build process. For example; desperately needs an engineering change to allow the rafters and roof to be built on the ground then simply lifted up and fastened onto the bed frame. Its a tall bed and as-is, we found ourselves on ladders in order to affix the top screws for the roof boards - D+ Manufacturing: -- I had to drill one hole that wasn't drilled at all, and had to finish drilling 2 others -- There were 2 areas where the paint was very thin - both were in prominent locations so I had to find similar paint, paint the pieces and let them dry - delaying completion -- Pilot holes were inconsistent in depth and several were off a few millimeters. There are no pilot holes to simplify roof installation -- 2 pieces were noticeably bowed and one had a slight twist; each required considerable effort and in one case, brute force to install them in a way that looked acceptable -- There were a few noticeable scuff/rub marks on two pieces - they clearned up with a magic eraser and touch up paint -- Missing hardware - shorted 2 screws and 2 dowels. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to finish the bed -- Most of the large pieces did not have stickers to identify them. This resulted in some trial and error and a little re-work - The bed could be sturdier. When fully assembed it is sturdy enough for smaller children, but I added additional supports in a few place to reduce lateral movement. Should help it survive the horseplay of a few high energy 5-7 years olds It is a cute bed for when my grand children sleep over or just need a nap. While the kids love the bed, they have no idea what a time and soul draining experience it was to build. I've built more complex items using worse instructions, but I have never spent so much time building one piece of furniture. I am an engineer, so I am normally pretty good at diagrams and building things. Fortunately, I had the help of a son and daughter-in-law. Tip: The more hands the better. This is a big bed. Before ordering, I recommend you verify the measurements of the room you plan to put it in. ... show more
