Buying this was a huge regret, and I'm horribly frustrated. This worked for maybe an hour the first time I charged it. It seemed to work alright. After that, it would never again charge or function. I purchased a few weeks before I could use it (to be ready when my spa was installed). Now I am outside of my return window, apparently, and cannot seem to locate any sort of helpful product support. What a huge waste of money and time.

When I received the Spabot, I was a little worried. Honestly, it feels a little cheap and not what I expected for the price tag. After a few rain storms here in So CA, I am very glad I purchased this spa cleaner. It really does a fantastic job! It cleans all areas of my spa except for the upper most step surface. It picks up pretty much everything that ends up in the spa; leaves, twigs, whatever falls of the trees around my house. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend the Spabot. If you do buy the cleaner, note that there's a manufacturer's $50 rebate running for a few months as well.

Do not buy this without reading the reviews! Cleaner worked great the first time I used it, then it wouldn't take a charge. I believe the issue is the charging port isn't sealed and when I went to charge it a 2nd time it wouldn't take the charge. Same complaint as everyone else. Too bad because as I said it worked great for my Spa the one and only time it would take a charge. Fortunately I am within the return time frame. The vacuum does everything it claimed, climbed the walls, steps and even cleaned the bench. However need it to retake a charge after using once.

UPDATE: Worthless. It just floats at the surface sitting in one spot and cleaning nothing now. I can't get it to submerge anymore and it doesn't turn or change directions. Cleans alright. Biggest concern is that there's no cover for the charging connectors. I mean your putting this in water and chemicals. I'd think it'd be a good idea to cover those connectors when in use, but there's no way to do that. I've seen a few reviews about how it won't charge after a while for some people. I can pretty well imagine it has to do with the charging connectors being exposed and degrading.

Finally a spa cleaner that does the job right 1st photo. In the photos you can see a difficult area to hand vacuum no matter what attachment I used. I could never get all the (white) calcium chips out which would breakdown finely, 2nd photo. The first time in spa completely cleared 3rd photo. Lite weight and floats to top when done. I would recommend!!!

Like other customers, this stopped charging. I just passed the return window & opened it up to see the problem. The inside was wet & obviously shorted out even though I had used it normally. $500 out the window. Don’t buy! Don’t waste your money!

I loved this Spa vacuum. When it worked it did an awesome job cleaning up the sand and debris from the spa. However, like many of these cordless pool vacuums it will fail to charge after a few uses. I had two of these, the first one failed after maybe a little over month. It just wouldn't charge. Even though it failed so soon, I liked it so much that I was hoping it was a fluke and decided to get another one. The second one didn't last more than two days, failing with the same issue, which was not charging. I recommend getting the extended warranty if you decide to buy one. The way this did such a good job, I wish that Polaris would develop one just like it, but a plug in like their bigger models. Great product, but fails as a cordless option.

On the first use this unit only worked for about an hour with a full charge. And since that time it gives an error code and will not charge. This was a waste of time and money.
