  • Great Trailer For The Price
I Like It. Assembled it quickly and easily using only a Phillips screwdriver and a 9/16 deep socket. An adjustable or box end wrench would certainly work but likely be a bit slower. The instructions were clear enough and the assembly was fairly obvious. Everything aligned perfectly and it took me about a half hour to put it all together. My first task was moving a couple of cords of recently downed fir rounds from some trees I had cut on my property. I'm not into trailer abuse but I also wasn't particularly gentle tossing the rounds in. After the first load I was pushing that 600 lb capacity regularly. It did everything I asked of it without an issue and finished the day looking as new as when it started. I thought that with the loads I was carrying the dump feature might not be viable but it worked easily. The balance point for the load is such that even an old guy like me ( I'm in my late 60s) could tip it easily. It's a bit twitchy backing up because of its short length but I was getting reasonably accurate by about my third load. For my needs the capacity is more than adequate, roughly 3 times what my wheelbarrow will haul. The frame and plastic bed are rugged and handled the use I gave it out of the box with no issues. The value for the money seems outstanding compared with other trailers on the market. Even if I need to replace it in 5 years, the warrantee period, it will still be a bargain. I do worry a bit about UV effects on the plastic bed but after I clear away a few hanging projects I'll be keeping it in my garage anyway. If my budding affection for this trailer should change I'll be sure to post an update. ... show more

  • Excellent addition to the "homestead"
I bought some almost undeveloped land and needed a way to get supplies from the road to 300 yards or so down a ravine. I say "almost" because there was a timber road onsite that at least gave me a path. It is relatively rough though. VERY washed out in parts. My dad (who is 74) came out to work on some areas because he was so worried I was going to flip the 4 wheeler and die. but that's moreso a indication of him than the road.. but it IS definitely bad. I was worried that a trailer would not keep up with a 4 wheeler (trucks are out of the question). My worries were put to rest after 1 trip... The trailer stays firm. never flipped.. didn't trail widely behind the 4 wheeler (yes. I was only going like 3 mph).. It was easy to put together. It is extremely lightweight. It was easier to throw my generator in the trailer and pull it by myself than carry it. I'm convinced it will go anywhere the 4 wheeler will go. Although I'm not using it for dumping material at this point, it has cut my trips down VERY significantly. I don't camp "lightly" and this allows me to make it in 2 trips instead of 10 with just the 4 wheeler. It at least allows me to not dedicate an entire day to "unloading". Quickly became one of the most important additions to the operation.. attached a picture of the wood I hauled during a firewood run. That would have been extremely overwhelming without the trailer. The only con I have is that there is no way to securely tighten cargo down with ratchet straps. The plastic edges just pull in.. If you go all the way around the chassis the same thing happens (unless your cargo is beyond the edges). Even on this terrible "road" I carried all of my loads without losing any cargo due to "turbulence" and the lack of tie downs. ... show more

  • Really quite amazing. Very useful and easily serviceable.
This is a pretty sweet little trailer for i guess any sort of lawn tractor. But you can easily use it like a wheelbarrow too. You can rotate the load around, you can dump it sideways, dump it behind. There was a bit of a hiccup, one of the inner tubes for the tires had a manufacturing defect. A thin spot that was so thin in one place that it was a hole. I'm not sure who sent the replacement, if it was Amazon or the manufacturer (Polar Trailer / Clam Outdoors). This was for my parents, who dealt with that, and they are absolutely satisfied with the resolution to that little snag, the service they received was no hassle. And plus, they super love the trailer. The bucket is a high grade beeefy bit of plastic. I'm not sure if it's fiber reinforced. For metal of this size it would be twice its weight. The bucket is quite thick, and really solid, while giving some sense of flex under load. All the other parts are steel. Do be aware: any sort of plastic tends to degrade over time in the sun, so get a UV-blocking tarp for storage if this will be outside. ... show more

  • Great product.
This is a nice and sturdy lawn trailer. Assembly instructions were simple and easy to follow. Putting it together took me less than an hour with no help. I have used the trailer to haul dirt and lawn debris. I like the tilt and the much prefer the back end design over the traditional tailgate. The slope of the back end makes it much easier to dump and rake dirt out. With a heavy load of dirt I simply unlatch the tilt and then pull forward a it and in most instances there is nothing left to rake out. I also like that the barrel is made of heavy duty polyethylene. This prevents the bottom from rusting out like the metal ones do. It's also light in weight and can be stored in an upright position to take up less space. I do not use the swinging capability that the trailer has, but can see where it may be helpful for those who may have trouble backing up a trailer. I really fell that with proper care this will last more quite a few years. ... show more
