like the other reviews have said, there is something wrong with the neck, because the first fret sounds awful... also they send a strap, like advertised, but the guitar only has one peg to hook the thing, so it's useless ******UPDATE****** i bought an electric tuner, tuned the strings...and one strum cracked the body, and ripped the bridge off, , so i wated my money, and have no guitar to show for it i would never buy this again...not even for a toddler , or recommend it to anyone ... show more

When you tune it, in the middle of the song is already messed up. Maybe changing the strings would work better but i got disappointed and decided to return.

Okay, this is not a great guitar. But, does not cost a great guitar price. If you need a light portable guitar to take on camping trips, beach parties, or any other event where your guitar will get beat around, this is the one for you. It plays easily, but it is not set up perfectly. I had to reset some fret bars to allow the highest notes to sound. It sounds loud and can be plugged into an amplifier if needed. For what it is, a cheap guitar to take where you don't want to take your finest guitar, this is a perfect choice. My finish was not swell, but you are going to knock this one about, if it had a great finish, you would quickly ruin it. Take this one instead. ... show more
