  • Received 10 rates!!
Style: Pokemon 25th Anniversary Celebrations El... Size: 5. Elite Trainer Boxes
My 7 year old grandson and I looked for days at reviews on all Pokémon cards sold on Amazon. He is a little business man and was concerned about receiving cards that have value. He checked on Dex and said we made our money back from the cost. He was estatic that we received the rares we did. The only negative is there were quite a few duplicates. He didn’t care because he gives them to his younger brothers so they think they are part of the Pokémon crew !! ... show more

  • Excellent way to learn Pokémon
Style: Battle Academy Size: 1. Starter Set
My 7 year-old daughter has been super curious about Pokémon, but we were having trouble just learning how to play. This is a very clear, well thought out introduction. It starts with each player having a (subtly) numbered deck of cards (1-60). The accompanying instruction booklet, specific to each player, takes both players step-by-step through set up, and through all the main features of gameplay. Once you get the hang of it, there are further instructions and a third more advanced deck to upgrade the experience. This was quite literally exactly what we had both imagined, and were looking for…but better! ... show more

  • Tail piece broken

Everything was great, but the entire tail piece is broken off the body. I saw others have the same issue. Nothing glue can’t fix, but still disappointed about it being broken.

  • A Tin of Fun
Style: Pokemon TCG: 25th Anniversary Celebratio... Size: 13. Collector Chests
I mostly got this tin because I knew it came with a Delta Species Mimikyu. I was hoping to find some additional Delta Species Pokémon in the packs, but unfortunately I had no such luck. I was initially interested in the Celebrations set because I knew it brought Delta Species back. I didn’t realize until later that it was just through promos and reprints. The tin itself feels rather nice, and I appreciate the little mini binder for the cards. I designated it as the storage place for all the cards I got from the set outside of the promos. I did end up getting quite a few repeats in the set, but the primary non-reprint portion of the set is relatively small. I only got one reprint card of a Claydol. I am guessing the reprints are rarer. The card art is quite nice, and I appreciate how the main set is this celebration of Legendary Pokemon. I don’t believe it has all of them, but it has a pretty decent chunk of Gen 1-7 in it. ... show more

  • had such high hopes...
Style: Pokemon TCG: Shining Fates Elite Trainer... Size: 6. Elite Trainer Boxes
first and foremost, I just want to make sure everyone is aware that this came sealed and untampered with because I know that's everyones first concern when ordering any type of cards online and I myself am actually a victim of tampered resealed packs so as u can imagine I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived with all of its plastic wrap in tact! I had been eye balling this ETB for a long time and finally pulled the trigger so I was just happy to finally sit down and open it, but I will admit I had high hopes and unfortunately I didn't get the best or most pulls, but oh well, opening packs is just another form of gambling so I can't even be mad about how underwhelming the cards I received were! Overall though, I am pleased with this purchase although can't say I would order it again!!!! ... show more
