I bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiancée. I was a little worried about buying the damaged & discounted option given that there was no guarantee it would arrive with all the pieces intact. My fiancée and I are into card collecting, but aren’t invested in the coins/dice/box itself etc. so I decided to take a gamble. I was astonished by the quality of it. It was completely intact and all of the components were accounted for. When it arrived the plastic seal was ripped, the outer packing dented, and there was a tiny bit of dirt and dust between the box and the sleeve. The box itself was unharmed, and even though the rip in the packaging exposed the guide book it was undamaged as well. Once the packaging and sleeve were removed and the dirt wiped off it looked good as new. Really the damage could have happened just from a single drop and the dirt inside just accumulated as it moved around the warehouse. This wouldn’t be suitable for someone who wants to keep sealed product or wants pristine exteriors, but if they only care about what's inside it’s a fantastic option. I’m sure every damaged option comes in different shape and some are a lot worse, but even then if the outside was ruined I would’ve been totally fine as long as everything was inside. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the damaged option again as a casual collector.

Nice presentation, but no valuable pulls The box has a great presentation with everything you’d expect from an Elite Trainer Box—boosters, sleeves, dice, and good-quality accessories. However, I didn’t get any valuable cards from the Obsidian Flames packs, which was a bit disappointing. Still, it’s a solid product for collectors or beginners. Opening it was fun, just didn’t have much luck this time.

Box was in perfect condition. Wasn’t tampered with in any way, I was relieved lol. It was sealed very nicely and all the cards were real if anyone was doubting about that. Had fun opening the packs and even managed to pull some hits. Package was on time and nothing was wrong, so 5 stars. 👍🏼

This year I have started doing Pokemon TCG official tournaments and this box was one of the best. It had tons of great pulls in it. Got many good hits with the packs. I needed some more of the card sleeves and some more stuff to make various decks. This comes in a very nice box that you can easily store in a backpack to take with you. You can easily put two good decks in the dividing carton in the interior netting. It comes with everything you need. Yet, it is kind of a lotto with some cards and doesn't have a full complete set of cards. It does come with a good swath of things. Over all it is a good start and will give you a good boost of things to get started or build your decks. I was very pleased with this one. The box is very nice and holds up very nicely.
