First, I appreciated how well packaged the lamps were upon arrival. The box had plenty of foam and spacing to keep them safe from impacts during transport. The assembly took roughly 10 minutes. The only tedious task was putting together the lamp shade. The lamp shades come rolled and must be attached to the included supports. I had to be careful not to put on the supports on crooked to prevent the shades from looking unbalanced. I recommend laying the unrolled shades flat on a smooth surface and rolling the support along the Velcro-like path. After assembly, my wife and I placed the lamps on our nightstands on each side of the bed. We absolutely love them! They really helps to bring everything together in our slowly evolving bedroom. The lamps base does have yellow accents, so that is something we’ll need to take in account for decor If your wife loves rustic, farmhouse stuff, she’s gonna love this pair of lamps. ... show more
