7" Touchscreen Android Car Device This is a device that you connect to your phone through either Android Auto or Air Play for IOS. This device gives you access to many of your favorite apps. I listen to the audio books and the podcasts. My Grandkids like to watch videos on it. You can text and listen to voicemails. I like the larger icons. It's also a much safer way to use your phone while driving by giving you hands free access to key apps. It was very easy to set up and the sound is great. Your phone doesn't have to be plugged in to the display to pair, making it wireless. Sometimes my connection drops and I have to reset it. The touchscreen works great and the picture quality is very nice. It sticks really good to the windshield. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My car is a 2014 Chevy Cruze which has a touchscreen radio and Bluetooth but born just before Android Auto and Apple Car play became mainstream. I rented a car on a trip to California and fell in love with the Android Auto feature. Saw this and decided for $80 it was worth giving it a try. I love how seamlessly this connects to my phone every time I start my car without me having to do anything after the initial setup. It's incredibly easy to use Maps and Spotify with the dual view, and use my Google Assistant to send texts and make calls hands free while driving. The interface is very responsive and fast. I have no complaints with the software, except that it has a hard time switching to night mode on Maps and just wants to be on Day mode unless I manually switch it, but I'm not sure if that is my phone or the device. Additionally, the sound quality emitted from the device was horrible, sounded very tinny and muffled, but once I got it connected to my car radio via Bluetooth that wasn't a concern. My car also had a backup camera already installed, so I did not install the included one in this kit yet, but might later on. My only complaint is with the hardware that it comes with. I really wanted to use the dashboard mount/stand, but it didn't even last 24 hours before it lost its stickiness and kept falling over. I had to switch today to the windshield mount which seems slightly better so far, but the adhesive seems weaker which doesn't fill me with optimism that it will last long. If they had better mounting capabilities this would have been an easy 5 stars.

Great variety of mounts (two different ones in the box, plus one extra larger one taped to the outside of the box - which was odd, but ok...). Easy to hook up. Gorgeous screen. Fast and responsive. CarPlay works very well, with no issues. The two issues I did encounter: - There are no instructions on how to install the back up camera. - Figured it out, got the camera hooked up and working (see the 3rd pic), and then after 15 mins, it just stopped working. Checked all the connections and wiring, and can't figure out why it stopped working. It just says "No Signal". While I'm a bit disappointed the camera just stopped working after I spent all that time running wires, that's not the main reason I wanted this unit. The camera was really a nice to have, since I have a short wheel base 2 door jeep wrangler. Even without the camera, it's still a good deal. Overall, would recommend if you aren't as concerned about the camera. If you want a CarPlay or Android Auto head unit, it's definitely worth it. If you wanted the backup camera too, be careful. Maybe mine was just a fluke.

This is my review for the Podofo Wireless Apple Carplay Car Stereo, Portable Car Play and Android Auto Screen for Car with 1080p Backup Camera I got this for my daughter. She has a Ford Fusion with the built in Navigation screen, but she never uses the built in screen since the navigation features are terrible. I thought this might be a great hands free option to try since she has an iPhone. Right out of the box you get the portable Apple CarPlay unit, various mounting adapters, User Manual, some sticky pads to mount the adapters to your dashboard, cigarette power adapter, back-up camera and various USB C power leads. I immediately plugged the unit into a USB power block to try it out. The unit has a power button at the top, so I just simply pressed that and the unit powered on with a cheerful chime to let you know it's booted up. I briefly read the manual, but you don't really need the manual, it's super simple to set up. Just open your bluetooth settings and search for the CarPlay unit's Bluetooth, took less than a minute to connect. Once connected, the CarPlay functionality on the screen came straight up with no issues, it was super easy. You can go into the settings of the CarPlay screen to set up screen savers, sounds, volume, message notifications etc, the touch screen was really responsive with no lag. You can also choose where the sound gets outputted from the the CarPlay screen, you can use the internal speaker (which is OK, but it's not going to win any HiFi awards for the sound quality), I opted to use the supplied audio cable and connect it directly into the Aux in of the car's audio head to get better sound quality. The back-up camera is also included with a really long connection cable, I didn't use that since my daughters car already has a back up camera. Overall, a really nice piece of kit. Super easy to use and connect, she was up and running in minutes. Lots of mounting options too with the supplied mounting adapters. Overall, it's great value for the currently listed price of $89.99, at that price, what's not to like!
