I like everything about this pole. It collapses small enough to fit in the tackle bag. It takes a little practice to get the hang of extending it and getting the rings lined up properly. It comes with a hard plastic end protector to keep everything together during transport. We've been fishing with it several times. It's holding up fine with no issues. My husband, sons, and their buddies (avid fishermen) all checked it out and liked it too. Last time out, we each caught our limit on trout. 5 of the bad boys pictured were caught with this pole. Update: Seller offered to replace the rod, which is amazing customer service. I have 3 or so other Plusinno rods, and this is the first time I've had trouble, so I expect this was just a fluke thing. So glad they stand behind their product. I'll come back to update if I have any trouble, but I don't expect to! I am working to see if I can get an exchange on this rod, as I have other Plusinno products and this is the first time I've had a problem, so I'm hoping it's a fluke, and I can rewrite this review. We had the reel spooled with line, and packed it all up in our packs. First use, the rod would not retract on the last section - of course the most delicate of the sections. We babied it through our trip, and managed not to break it, but it's not really useable for us now. Amazon will honor a return, but we'll be out our pole, and the cost of the line/spooling on the reel, and it seems so wasteful to trash the whole thing. Hoping Plusinno will help us! ... show more

This rod is a good product with light weight and good portability. The only reason I am giving it four stars is that the base/bottom of the rod is too short to hold conveniently. Meaning, the length of the rod from reel to bottom is so short that it is really inconvenient to hold it comfortably. Also, gold color palette that you see in the rod is not metal but just plastic. The reel is also made of hard plastic except the spinner which is metal. Overall, it's not a great product but ok for the price, except the bottom of rod is short. ... show more

I haven't used it yet but seems very sturdy compared to the first telscopic rods I got they where cheap feel and looking but completely different brand.

I hope most of you sees this.... it's good only for pond/lake fishing and for small almost a medium size fish. Ros feels cheap... but then again for the prize, it's a matchup. Don't use it for fishing large sizes

Used this little guy about 20+ trips already and I have been loving it. It was originally just going to be my back up rod, but it is so convenient I keep it in my truck at all times and now it’s the only rod i use. I threw 6lbs spiderwire on it and I can feel everything my lure is doing in the water. Also, feel every little nibble, bite, and I know exactly when the fish is on. Pulled in a couple 1.5-2 pounders on this set up and the fight is just fun. Even that occasional angry runner bluegill makes you feel like you’re reeling in a big ol slab. Super durable so far. I let it roll around the truck bed, pull up to a random spot on the side of the road, drop the line in the water, and have literally had zero issues (knock on wood). Easily landed 100+ fishing ranging from 1/2” guppy to 16” bass and this rig just keeps on working. As I said, I love this thing. ... show more
