These arrived damaged (not from shipping but from the factory) and dented with multiple paint chips, dents in the frames, rusty hinges and hinge bolts, and what appears to be previously returned and repainted/repaired units. You can clearly see where the frames are bent in the attached photos, one of the dents is to the point of the metal splitting. There are spots where the paint has completely chipped off exposing pure metal which has already started rusting. One of the hinges is bent slightly which means the doors don't align properly when closed. I also was missing the screw that holds the magnet to the frame and had to replace those as well. After assembly one of the Units sits flush against the fireplace while the second one leans forward away from the fireplace opening by almost 1.5 inches at the top. This is due to inconsistencies with how the feet are welded and how they sit flush on the floor. There is nothing I can do without bending the feet in some way to correct for this. Based on the damage on both units and the inconsistencies in build quality, I cannot recommend these fireplace screens. ... show more
