I really love this switch case, it is the perfect color and I love the ergonomic grips! It wasn't too much trouble to put on the adhesive, but I could see how it could be challenging if you are not good with your hands or if you struggle with art projects/ arts and crafts. For me, I got this case instead of going for a switch skin or changing the front place, so it was a much easier and less permanent alternative. Only the actually switch console/screen piece gets adhesive-d on, the joycons just snap on. I did not use the provided button covers. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the ergonomic grips, but after testing out both I can say they do help compared to the standard grips. It's not like having a full on grip, but much improved over the standard and my switch still fits in the case. Dockability- Mainly I wanted to leave this review because YES the Switch is dockable. I would say you probably have to line the bottom piece up very well with the holes or you could infere with dockability. I had no issues fitting my switch into the dock and getting the switch to connect with the dock. I tried a couple other cases and this was my favorite because of the quality - many of the other cases snap on very delicately, especially for the joycon piece, and this one seems MUCH sturdier. I would also say the switch is a hard device to make a case for so I'm OK with the adhesive as it feels a lot more secure. The color is very nice, more of a sage green which is what I was looking for. I cannot speak on the removal of the case. It seems very stuck on there, which is good and bad. I think it will be possible to remove and luckily there's only a few strips of adhesive on there. If you are worried about removal I may suggest skipping the game card slot sticky piece as that one feels very stuck on there. I also like that with this case I can use the kickstand. Lastly - this isn't an issue for me, but with this case you cannot fit the joycons into the controller slider thing. Personally, I use a separate pro controller so I don't use the included joycon controller device anyways. Luckily, the joycon pieces just snap on so in the rare event that I do need to use that, I can just snap on and off the case. I do think its protective, if I were to drop my switch I could see the case potentially cracking, but would rather the case break than my switch. ... show more

This case not only looks very good but has survived some serious drops, not to mention that it is EASILY dockable. I'd assume that there is some variation in console/dock size and case thickness from person to person, but in my experience, it docks and comes out without any issue.

Loved the retro vibes so im thankful for this company for making these types of cases. Bought one for my switch lite and loved it so i bought this one for my oled. Quality feels good however the joycons with the case on does feel noticeably loose. You can feel it wobble when in handheld. Thought I could get used to it but its really annoying so I decided not to use this case. I've tried it with both of the grips that came with the package and same issue. A fix would be to use some of the adhesives tapes that came with the package or your own but note that it will be hard to remove the case afterwards without risking damaging/deforming it since its more of a permanent solution. So cute. The retro look is so fun! However, I have only had this for less than 3 months and it's falling apart. Literally. The other negative is that I don't see where you can contact the seller for support. UPDATE: I was promptly contacted by product support to replace the case. I have never left a review and then contacted by support to fix the issue. I am very surprised and happy with this result. I must have originally received a weird defect as this replacement seems to be more sturdy and durable! ... show more

I would have taken pictures if I didn’t put it in the box fast for this return. I love the color, very disappointed there were missing pieces like the grips, but the fact we had to adhesive this to the oled made it more disappointing. I loved the color, it seemed promising but push to shove, this is a cheaply designed case with no love thought for the concept. The cases description says it’s dockable, but it is not, Nintendo must have a patent technology on the new docks. I would have to apply pressure to get it to read a connection. I took pressure off, it went off. The buttons needed adhesive, the kick stand needed adhesive. Overall very mad at the design of this case. It was a terrible idea and i wish there were more reviews. I hope this one stops the next person trying to protect their OLED. Just look for something else, I will update if I find the proper replacement for this one.. the classic SNES cover looked so nice too, im glad I tested and failed with this one because I would have been really crushed had i seen that not working. Edit: I did find an alternative, it’s from an authentic Japanese vendor and that case was about $20, I will find the exact model, but all I looked up was “Dockable OLED protective case with Pandas on it” and the one with the lil pandas on it , it was everything I wish this case was , minus the button covers, which I thought was pretty lame anyways. ... show more

    • Pretty but Switch OLED won't quite fit in dock

This case is a great color, easy to put on, and smooth to handle. However, I ended up having to remove it. It makes my Switch OLED just a little too large to fit in the dock and be able to connect to the TV. It fits enough to charge, but won't connect to the TV. I've kept it for mobile purposes, but I'm not sure how many times I'll be able to reattach the back, which uses adhesive. ... show more
