I bought this controller because the original controller that came with my ps5 kept drifting to the left too often. Once I charged this new controller, it worked great. I love the deep purple color, no more drifting so far, and feels great to hold.

In less than 2 months my puppies got a hold of it and ruined the controller. Both right triggers are gone, chewed up the thumbsticks, triangle needs more pressure then normal to make it work, and a bunch of bite marks all over the shell casing. Almost an upsetting purchase. THANK YOU for the extra bottom triggers. the controller would have otherwise been useless. Luckily, I can buy a aftermarket shell and new right triggers restoring it to its original glory. That's all I care about. I DID NOT WANT TO BUY ANOTHER $200 CONTROLLER. $50 to fix it is a bargain, plus the ease of modification is why I paid so much money in the first place. I will update you when I'm done. Update: trigger didn't fit so I'm sending it back. The new case was lil harder then anticipated. Almost back to its former glory. ... show more

    • Almost perfect, but with one major flaw (grip pad discoloration/detachment)

This is almost the perfect controller. The general shape/weight/feel of it is perfect. But there's something very wrong with the material used for the grip pads (and if you look online you'll see a lot of other people who have encountered this same issue). Despite being meticulous about keeping it clean (always washing my hands before - and during - use), the pads started to turn yellow within just a couple months. Nothing was capable of making them white again (I tried everything you could think of, including vinegar water and, as a last resort, bleach water) - it appears to be some sort of chemical reaction that happens between skin and the grip pad material that actually changes the color of the material itself, so you can't wash it off. Additionally (and probably more concerning if you don't care about your pads turning yellow), the pads also seem like they might detach over time. One of mine has an air bubble that's formed under the material, and I imagine it will get worse over time. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the controller still feels great and has some great features, but issue with the grip pads could definitely be a deal-breaker for many people. ... show more
