I strongly advise against purchasing this "Renewed" PS5 console, especially if you are an international buyer using a freight forwarding service. The console arrived with severe, pre-existing internal hardware defects. While the unit turns on, it completely freezes on any ray-traced games and frequently crashes to the dashboard on standard games. After extensive troubleshooting with the seller's diagnostics, it became obvious this unit was never properly tested or "renewed" before being sold. It was shipped completely broken. If you live outside the US and use a freight forwarder, be warned: Amazon's A-to-Z Guarantee will completely abandon you. Because the item was defective out of the box, I attempted to return it, but shipping it back internationally costs over $180 USD out-of-pocket. Three separate Amazon Customer Service agents explicitly promised me a prepaid international return label or a courier pickup to resolve this. I wasted weeks following their instructions, only for Amazon's automated system to instantly deny my claims and appeals based on their "freight forwarder policy." The executive team completely ignored their own agents' written guarantees and refused to cover the return shipping for an item that was sold to me broken. I am now stuck with a broken console because the seller shipped a defective product and Amazon refused to honor its customer service promises. Buy brand new, or buy locally. I bought the item in premium condition and it arrived with everything exactly as described. I’ve put about 13 hours of playtime on it so far with zero issues. The console runs perfectly, the Wi-Fi connection is solid, and the packaging was great. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

The console works just fine. Had a moment where it glitched and didn’t want to let me buy PS Plus but after a few tries it worked and hasn’t had any issues since. Games download fast and start right up. My main reason for buy was for remote play and that works very well. Graphics are great. The only reason I did t give this a 5 star is because as I saw in previous comments the controller has issues. My controller was able to connect but it does not hold a charge. I had it in the charger for a whole day and it said 100% but after five minutes of game play it gave me the low battery warning then another 3 minutes later it dies. I have to use it tethered every time and it’s kinda annoying that I have to buy a new one right out of the box but as it’s renewed I did expect a hiccup somewhere I’m just really glad the console works as it should.
