First one arrived and couldn't read disc's I had it replaced and the second one also wont read disc's tried cleaning all the sensors lasers on both and nothing multiple disc's CDs DVDs and still nothing so ill return this one and try a different company

Not even close to the picture. The AC adapter is broken and the DC in as well. The cables are not the original ones and even the controller. Lost of money for a very old and super used console.

I feel like I paid a premium for a service that was not delivered. And I guess that is based on my idea of a product being "Renewed". Amazon isn't involved really, since these usually come from third parties, but I expected to get a beautiful, thoroughly cleaned, and functional Playstation 2 Console Slim with the Ceramic White bezel, a white stand, and a matching white controller as pictured. I got a functional one that was relatively wiped down, but not thoroughly clean. What I got was a functional stained unit, a large deep scuff mark on the top, a semi-transparent blue controller, and much of the components smelled like they were in the home of a smoker. This, to me does not live up to the term "Renewed". I know how to clean and detail these things and clearly those steps were not taken. 1. Disassemble 2. Place plastic parts in container with dish soap. Allow to soak. 3. Using a soft bristle toothbrush, gently scrub away any remaining dirt. 4. Use 90% or better rubbing alcohol to help remove tobacco that has accumulated when unit is from a smoking home. 5. Clean electronics with 90% or better alcohol. 6. Allow to dry. 7. If heat sink must be reseated, use thermal paste (or in the case of PS5 systems, use liquid metal. 8. Reassemble. If yellowing has occurred, soak plastic parts in a transparent container of Hydrogen Peroxide and use UV lights or the sun to remove yellowing. Unfortunately, that wasn't done here. Which means, I have to do it myself or return the product. Personally, I don't intend to return the product, but I am upset that I have to take these steps after having paid for these to be done. Having said that, the seller did include a 2nd controller (not made by Sony), but When terms like "Renewed" are used in the listing, I think Amazon needs to set standards and police those standards. I should not be able to notice the scuff mark from 1 foot away, but it is very visible. Item was supposed to be clean, but wasn't. Quite disappointed.
