  • Never played it when it originally came out and it’s not great story wise but it’s not bad
So I’ve seen the first and third Matrix movies but not the others including The Animatrix or played this game. Finally decided to do that and like I said in the title the game isn’t bad but it’s not great either. Controls are a bit odd especially if you’re trying to pull by off the slow-no stuff the Matrix is known for. I got it used because I figured well if I didn’t like the game or it didn’t work it’d be no big loss but it works perfectly fine. If you’re a fan of The Matrix but have only seen the first 3 movies I recommend you play this because it fills you in on what the big meeting was about at the beginning of the second movie as well what happened in one of the shorts featured in The Animatrix. ... show more

  • Not Good for Seller
I grew up owning and playing the original Enter the Matrix. Recently acquired a PS2 in 2023 and have building my library. Enter The Matrix was an obvious entry to the vault. Sort of aimlessly searching I came across this particular seller, which is the first I’ve ever done business with. Everything SEEMED copacetic, that is until I received the game itself. The game felt as a PS2 case should, as far as dimension go, but the plastic over lapping sleeve and the incredibly MINT printed cover was a dead give away that this product was a bootleg. The game disc itself has a surprisingly new but printed feel to it and a skeptical outer feeling as you have your finger In the center and spin the disc around. The actual gameplay was alot darker than the original ps2 version and at times is almost unplayable (I played until mission 3) the cutscenes fairly well but again are incredibly dark and almost unwatchable. The gameplay feels like a typical early 2000’s feel but is bearable if you liked something like the Max Payne series. ... show more
