Nice little set. They are not plastic. Rather, they are heavy duty and something a child can really use. The shovel can easily go into dirt as long as it's not incredibly hard and the other tools work just fine. Also, they are just the right size for a small child. I was very surprised because these tools are much heavier and more sturdy than I thought they would be. This group of tools is just right for a little one to use when they're working alongside an adult. A great set for a great price.

My kid loves pulling weeds and helping out when I do yard work so I had to get him his own set of tools as mine were way too big for him. Overall quality is better than expected. The only thing I worry is that there is that the the tools are two piece which are joined together by a screw in plastic piece. If you kid is rough with the tool, it might break easily but I havent run into that issue yet. The head of the tools being metal is awesome though!

The price point on this garden tool set is great, but the only downfall was the durability. I bought this set for my 2 year old son to "help" me when I am outside on the farm, it did not take much for him to destroy this. He was able to break the shovel head right off the stick and the leaf rake he was able to bend right in half! I loved the price and what came in the set, I loved that it was easy to assemble and it did look great and do the job for a few days. The durability was the only flaw.

My son wasn’t even playing with these for an hour and one of them broke. Very poorly made. Don’t waste your money. There’s a piece of plastic that connects them in the middle… That really doesn’t make sense when that’s where the force is going to be when they put a little pressure on it
