  • Bright, Colorful & Easy-to-Read
I love the cartoons that accompany the different pieces. It is bright, cheerful, and very easy to read with the large lettering. I've always wanted to learn to play even just a few simple songs, everyone has to start somewhere. The book also includes playing notes in a certain sequence as warm up hand exercises. ... show more

  • A great way to introduce piano!
This is such a fun way to help your kids feel confident quickly on the piano without needing to sign them up for lessons. I love that in the back there are multiple sizes of labels to cut out to put on the keys of your piano or keyboard based on the size you have. My kids almost instantly were able to play songs that were fun and recognizable to them. I think it's a great foundation for the beginning of loving to play the piano without having to learn very much technical skill. There were more songs than I was expecting which is an added bonus! ... show more

  • The best beginner piano book!
I love this book! Me and my children are learning from this beginner piano book together. This book is amazing! Using colors and notes and explaining every note with large font and beautiful colors makes it so easy to learn. This book paired with piano stickers that you attach to the keys has been a game changer for my family. The writers Jennifer and Antimo are geniuses! (kids age 4 & 5) ... show more

  • Only wish it had stickers instead of having to cut out the color dots
Kids actually started playing songs on their own once I cut out the color dots and used some packing tape to stick them on the keyboard. Only would’ve rather had some stickers like I saw in other packs but oh well… does the job I guess!

  • Great teaching techniques
Bought this for my niece and nephew and was instantly serenaded thanks to the key color coding. The little tutorials at the beginning of each song were bite sized reminders of the music theory I took back in high school. This is a really good resource to introduce children to the piano.

  • Making learning to play the keyboard fun
This is an absolutely wonderful product that gets the younger musicians involved with learning to play the keyboard. The approach is simple, and it focuses on the best part of learning an instrument, playing fun songs. The instruction is intuitive, and I love the use of colors to correspond to the notes. (The book comes with two pages of cut and paste labels for the keys, in three sizes depending on the size of the keyboard. The book suggests laminating the labels. With any lamination I have seen, that would not work. The plastic does not coat the inside, and once you cut it apart, the inside would just be free paper. Instead, I copied the page onto 55 lbs paper, card-stock, and used a rubber glue variant to attach the labels to the keys. It is sturdy enough to stay on, but, when you finally decide to remove the labels, whether it is a month or three years, five minutes with your fingernail can remove it all, so it is not permanent.) Please see the enclosed pictures. All in all, this is an excellent product. ... show more
