Only problem was that it the machine moved a lot, so it had to be held down for it not to shift. Kinda hard for a 4yr old to operate it, while firmly holding it down, & while also feeding the dough through. Wish there were suction cups to keep it in place

Between all the kids, we've used a lot of Play Doh kits over the years. Some are impossible for young kids to operate without adult help. (eg Mop Top Hair Shop!) This one is very simple to crank, and has large durable parts. There is a big door on the side of the pasta machine for cleaning / clearing dried play doh, which is nice. I also like that the kit has other activities. Some of the more recent kits are basically just an extruder with some little molds on the sides. Multiple kids can realistically play with this kit. The only possible negative is reminding them not to eat the Play Doh, even though it is now shaped like play food! ha ha Recommend! ... show more

This is a great toy. Unlike some of the other play doh toys, this one is easy to use and clean. My 5-year old needs some help putting it together but can play with it independently. She really enjoys rolling and cutting the different shapes of noodles while I'm doing other things in the kitchen.

This set is a blast! It was a gift for my daughter but I had so much fun making pasta with her that she was mad that I was “hogging” her new toy! The pasta arm makes making noodles so much easier than other play doh noodle makers and the molds and menus make tons of fun for your budding restauranteur.
