This in a nice set. These dishes are little heavier than the plates I had before, but they look nice and according to the description they are supposed to be free from lead and all of the nasty stuff. They held up nicely in the dishwasher, but they do tend to get a bit hot in the microwave. One of the smaller plates in my set had a small chip in it so I reached out to customer service and they quickly handled the problem. There are a few imperfections like the blue colored spec in one of my photos, and heavier glazing on the edges like in another of my photos, but overall it is a good looking set. ... show more
