Many years ago I saw a rake with a metal handle. It was expensive at the time and I passed it up, and I have been regretting it ever since, as wood handled rakes have a nasty habit of breaking. When I saw this rake I jumped at it, and it has so far been exactly what I had hoped. It is not ideal, but it meets the need I had and it is made well. This rake comes disassembled, and it is packed in a flat box that doesn’t really suggest it’s a rake. Assembly is pretty straightforward and I was able to put it all together in a matter of a few minutes. Not all the sections are required; I needed to put in all the sections but one, as using them all made the rake a little too long for me to handle comfortably. The sections just screw together without tools, and the head is attached with two nuts and bolts. In the hand the assembled rake feels sturdy and light. I do not know yet how well it will hold up under prolonged use. I have not had it long, and the limited used I have put it through has not really taxed it yet. It does feel sturdy enough to put up with heavier raking. My only real complaint is that the rake head is more narrow than I would like. I am used to wider rake heads, and the more narrow means more work when I am raking leaves in the yard. In the flip side of that coin, the more narrow head can get into tighter places where my bigger rake cannot reach. I have not yet tried fitting a larger rake head on the pole. I like this rake. It is one I will put to heavier use this fall, but so far it seems to be holding up well. I would have liked a wider rake head, but the trade-off is being able to reach tighter spots.

This lightweight rake has been such a helpful addition to my yard tool collection. The nylon plastic head is surprisingly durable and has a 16.5-inch width that covers a good amount of ground without feeling heavy or clunky. One of the best features is the adjustable handle, which can go from 35 to 75 inches. This makes it incredibly easy to customize the length depending on who is using it or exactly what area of the yard I’m working on. It feels sturdy enough to pull through soft grass and pine needles without the tines snapping, which is often a worry with plastic rakes. The ergonomic design is a huge plus because it doesn’t put nearly as much strain on my back or arms as my old metal rake did. Even after clearing a large pile of leaves, I don't feel that usual fatigue. It’s light enough that even the kids can help out with the yard work without getting frustrated by a heavy tool. The handle sections screw together securely, so I haven't noticed any wobbling or loosening while I'm actually raking, which makes the whole process feel much more efficient and stable. It really excels at the smaller, tedious tasks like pulling debris out from under bushes or clearing out tight corners where a full-sized rake wouldn't fit. The color of the handle is a nice touch too, as it makes it easy to spot in the grass if I set it down for a moment. It is exactly what you would expect for a home gardening too. Functional, simple to store since it breaks down easily, and built to last through multiple seasons. I’m really happy with how much easier it has made my weekend yard maintenance.

The media could not be loaded. Plastic Leaf Rake works well for small maintenance tasks. Assembly was easy. Instructions are included. Dimensions are 1" W x 65" H. At just over a pound, the weight is a standout feature. The adjustable handle, which ranges from 35 to 65 inches, is sturdy and allows me to shorten it for tight spots under shrubs or extend it fully for standard lawn clearing. In terms of performance, it excels at gathering dry leaves, grass clippings, and pine needles. However, its "heavy-duty" capabilities are disappointing. Because the plastic tines are on the softer, more flexible side, they tend to glide over wet, matted debris or heavy mulch rather than digging in. If you try to use this for serious landscaping or moving piles of damp soil, you’ll likely find the head flexing too much to be effective. It’s ideal for keeping on a porch or in a small shed for quick daily tidy-ups rather than a weekend overhaul of a neglected acre. Highly recommend for light debris and comfort-focused gardening!
