This is the first pair of compression sleeve warmers that I've purchased, so I do not have another brand to compare these to. I will say, however, that after several uses, these Armoray Arm Sleeves deserve all the excellent reviews seen here on Amazon. And the price is extremely reasonable as well. I bought these primarily to keep my arms warm during cooler-weather bike riding, and so far, they have not disappointed. I am 6'2" with a slightly longer-than-average arm length, and these sleeves fit beautifully. They are snug, but not too tight, and they do not slip or slide down at all. They do a great job of keeping my arms warm, and they fit easily in my bike jersey pocket if I need to take them off. I am looking forward to using them during the summer for UV protection too, and will be using them not just on bike rides, but on the golf course and for other outdoor activities as well. ... show more

Allegedly these are supposed to be new but they had a mark on them. Tried washing them and it didn't come off. Anyways after the first wash they lose their coloration but I can't seem to find any other sleeve that just fits right for my arms. I suppose they make a small difference when in direct sunlight. I really wouldn't know I tried to avoid the sunlight as much as possible during my job cuz I'm in it a lot. They're soft at first but after the first wash they become a little rough. Anyways I like to leave a little warning do not watch these with any dark clothing if you have dark clothing to wash them with they will leave little white looking fibers all over them and you cannot get them out. Of course you wouldn't wash yellow with black pants but if you buy any of the sleeves just be aware of this fact. ... show more
