I’ve had one for years. Thought it would be nice to replace older boards with these. The sizes are clearly different; making them easy to dedicate to certain foods. These match my kitchen with a strong red that is more the deep red of a ripe cherry than a maraschino cherry color. The one I have now needs a quick scrub with a brush, under water before cleaning in the dishwasher. Of course regular disinfecting is a good idea. The board itself has not discolored despite being used for chopping beets and tomatoes over the years. I expect these will be the same in performance. ... show more

Is it possible to love a cutting board? I was so tired of the thin colored plastic set we had. Not to be dramatic, but it was killing a little piece of my soul each time I'd use one of them, and pieces of food would go rolling off the bowed sides of those darn curled up, warped pieces of junk. Cutting boards aren't your typical exciting purchase, but I finally broke down and bought these, and as weird as it may sound, I found joy in chopping vegetables again! Or maybe I'm just feeling the absence of the extreme frustrations caused by the wonky warped set that I've now gladly thrown away. So is it love or just being pulled back from the brink of insanity? I have always had wood cutting boards. Always. But, this last set had started to crack - and my noggin went berserk imagining the nasty germs and bacteria down in those cracks. So i sprung for these....and am pleasantly surprised at how much easier they are to handle and maintain. I like that i can just pop them in the dishwasher without having to spray them down with bleach. I'm actually thinking of getting a second set. ... show more

I chose red as the color for my set and they are an attractive addition to my kitchen. They are a handy set of sizes for multiple tasks. When we are preparing something with multiple ingredients, it is nice not to have to keep washing and re-washing the same cutting board.. I love these! They are just the right size and have the nice grip edges so they don't slip off my counter when cutting foods up. Also, the drip edge on them is great when cutting things up that are a bit juicey. These sit firmly on the counter. The colored handles run through both sides and provide a “grip” at the sides of the board on the counter-top, preventing slides in any direction whether in use or just on counter. It functions as an ok cutting board. Over time and usage, it has begun to warp and no longer sits flat on surfaces (causing the silicon non-slip edges to be useless). The surface is not smooth, it has a rough grit to it, and the drip catching edges are not designed well/deep enough to keep any amount of liquid from flowing over the edge of the board. Nice set of cutting boards. Like the non slip edge. Had these about a year with moderate use. Smaller one get the most use. The cutting surface is starting to show significant wear on the smaller board. But, not bad for the price point.
