This Essesntial oil is worth every penny. It helps me relax and with concentration. i often put a few drops in my shampoo and soaps. It makes me feel refresed in the morning. The thing is these olis have many uses so if one use seems pointless there still another use. The Many Uses of Peppermint Essential Oil by Carrie Raab on January 19, 2012 Peppermint Essential Oil Peppermint has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion is peppermint. Peppermint is widely used in tea as a garnish and is used in herbal teas because of its therapeutic benefits. Peppermint essential oil that is therapeutic grade, is highly concentrated and extremely powerful! ONE drop of Young Living Peppermint oil is equivalent to 28 cups of tea! Can you believe that? That is amazing! Can you imagine having to drink 28 cups of tea to get the same benefits as one drop of essential oil. No thanks! My favorite way to use peppermint oil is in my coffee! I put a drop into my Gano Cafe classic black coffee every morning. It is like having a peppermint mocha from a coffee shop. I love not only the taste but also smelling the peppermint oil vapors coming out of the cup. It wakes me up, gives me energy and helps curb my appetite. I also love the powerful effects peppermint oil has on my sinuses, as well as my husband and children. We have not had a sinus infection in a year, and my son was prone to them 2-3 times a year! What a blessing this oil is to me and my family! There are so many ways to use peppermint essential oil. Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil Uses: 1.Add a drop of peppermint essential oil to herbal tea to help aid normal digestion and to relieve heartburn. 2.Massage several drops of peppermint essential oil on the abdomen, place a drop on wrists, or inhale to soothe the minor stomach discomfort associated with travel. 3.Rub one drop of peppermint essential oil on the temples, forehead, over the sinuses (careful to avoid contact with your eyes), and on the back of the neck to relieve head pressure/headache. 4.Place 2 drops of peppermint essential oil on the tongue and rub another drop of oil under the nose to help improve concentration and alertness. 5.Apply peppermint essential oil to the back of the neck and shoulders throughout the day to keep energy up. 6.Inhale peppermint essential oil, apply topically to your temples or neck, or put a drop on your tongue or in water to jump-start your morning routine. I added some mint or peppermint essential oil inside the shampoo to make the minty stronger and it definitely help much better for a cool scalp feeling. Can also drop some into freshener pouches and help keep bugs and mosquitos away. Works amazing for many things. I’ve found other peppermint oils smell weirdly not like you’d expect peppermint to smell. This however smells exactly like peppermint you’d find in candy.
