I'm 57, and have had numerous orthopedic surgeries over the course of my lifetime, and given birth to three children. Pain is not knew to me. And I have a pretty high threshold. I have never been one to use OTC pain relievers and have only used opiates post operatively. All that said: Pain has been part of my life most all the time, but lately it was disturbing my sleep. Not okay. I had read about people using medical marijuana for pain and grew curious enough to start reading about it, wondering if Cannabis sativa oil might work for me. I picked this particular oil because the company, Edens Garden, is run by women. Plus, I liked the label, and several reviewers have had good luck with pain relief. I ordered a few books on the subject to help me properly use the oil, but I began using the oil as soon as it arrived, before the books did. That was my first mistake, my own lack of knowledge. I read that some reviewers opted to put a drop on the back of their tongues, so I tried that, and yes, it tastes just terrible, and worse, the foul taste lingers for hours. I'm familiar with using herbal tinctures, but this oil was particularly strong. The books arrived, and I read that it would probably be better to try using it on my skin, but using several drops was evidently way too much. I had some pretty awful nightmares as a result. Next: I used a carrier oil, also in the books, liquid coconut oil in my case. And, because I wanted to be able to carefully measure just one drop at a time, I found the European dropper bottle was too imprecise for me, I transferred the oil into a tiny Bach Flower bottle with dropper. Now, I can use "just one drop," with my carrier oil, which I smear on my skin first, then drop on the essential oil and rub it in. And it has worked beautifully every night for several weeks. I have experienced complete pain relief and a restful night sleep for the first time in years.

It didn't really help with my muscle pain and headache. However, it worked right away when my dog had a seizure. I put one drop under her tongue. Her seizure normally takes 45 mins, then she's quiet and wants to be left alone for an hr. But she went back to normal in less than 15 minutes as if the seizure never happened. It was a miracle

This is great stuff! Yes it has a strong smell but it's an essential oil & when mixed with a carrier it's not as potent a scent. It has a fresh & herbal smell to me. Works great on pain (think cramps ladies!!) & I've used it on my hands and just rubbed it & hemp oil on my husband's achy knee. I'll be using this in combo with Eden's Garden Muscle Relief EO to make a rub. I make & sell bath bombs and will be using this along with hemp oil for a therapeutic & moisturizing bomb. Also mixed it with lavender & lemongrass (it smells awesome) as an anxiety ease linen spray & slept like a rock. Expensive but with it's multiple uses well worth the $$$.

This product is bad all around in my opinion. If you research or knower anything when going to purchase a cannibis oil you of course see if the label list all important info. There is two general kinds of cannibis the standard type or hemp there are categories that let buyers know which type their interested in. In which the on average are looking at a THC which will get you high or the CBD also known as "medical marijuana" which is non-psychoactive a therapeutic only that will not give a high. This vendor did specify any real info their product or which kind it was. True cannibis oil hemp or regular meant to used on the skin under the tongue, vapored or diffused. There is NO NEED for diluting if you are familiar at all with essential oils you know that you don't dilate you oil. Especially for someone desperate due to terrible pain I mixed It with some of my other oils. Like the others mentioned the smell was absolutely disgusting and so overwhelming it made me sick. Got near my husband he about fell over he wouldn't come near me. In just a couple days I've gone through almoyhalf bottle has show NO signs of any relief from my pain I learned my lesson did more research and ordered the correct stuff from a 100% orangic grower. Note* To all those that have tried regular Cannibis or Hemp Oil this is an essential oil and IS NOT TO BE INGESTED! Read it it's in the product posting it's not the same as the regular oils.

According to some information I read, CBD is "supposed" to help relieve pain, so even tho I did not exactly know what to buy or where to look to find it, I decided to give this product a try. It is qualified as an "essential oil" -= so it wouldn't necessarily be expected to do as much as the pharmaceutical grade oils, but I hoped it would do something. It does smell like "weed," but beyond that I didn't feel much benefit. As an oil, I think it is fine, and blended with other oils, it might add a nice balance, so I don't necessarily think it is misrepresented. When I shopped at one of the dispensaries in Colorado I found out that it takes CBD 5 days to get its benefits in to your system, and so it could be that this takes a little longer also. If you have access, go to the dispensary instead.

This oil smells like pitch from a pine tree, tastes like green grass concentrate. I have no idea where people get the bad smell comments from. I take one drop at the back of the tongue each morning and my severe arthritis pain is 90% gone, motion in my arm is restored. It took about 4 days before I started getting results but the taste of pitch is worth it, I chase it with my morning coffee. I don't take in the afternoon or before bed because it causes lots of dreams and poor sleep although a good friend with cancer swears it helps her sleep like a baby, dreams and all. She has ovarian cancer now for 2 years, too late to treat the dr, said, but is still walking around just fine.

Miracle oil. I mix with hemp oil and put in a spray bottle. Rub it on, pain is gone. I even had a cold sore that went away over night. I use it on everything that hurts, burns, stings or itches. It's worked in everything, and as a bonus, if I put it on my neck or temples at night I sleep like a baby. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Can't live without it.
