I purchased this light for a plant cabinet. The stand is very versatile and hanging equipment is included. I was able to get stand and base on the top shelf of the cabinet. The light produces sufficient lumens to support plant needs. The power cord and remote plug into the back of the light fixture and need to be secured so they do not change position of light. The remote is touch screen and very touchy. Overall I am happy with MetryGrow light. Will update if that changes.

MetryGrow Plant Grow Light With Smart App is hands down the best grow light I've ever worked with! Now this is just my third expeperiece with indoor growing, so I'm not an expert by any means, but this grow light is easy to set up and use, and produces impressive results. For starters, you can either hang it, or use this light atop a stand, so you have a lot of height flexibility. This grow light also offers dimming, so you have complete control of your light output and can save a bit more on your electric bill. I've got the grow light set up in the back (dark) corner of my guest bedroom, and it's putting out plenty of light for two wandering jew plants and a pot of spearmint. Highly recommended.

With a higher-than-average 85-watt output, it’s incredibly powerful and provides my plants with all the light they need to thrive. Reviewing MetryGrow Plant Grow Light with Smart App; I have a few plant lights that work decently but they aren’t large enough to hit all the plants in my plant corner, nor do they come with a stand so I have to tie them to the plant stand. This light intrigued me because it comes with a large stand and the light block is large enough that if I angle it right, it can hit all my plants at once. The light is powerful and large. The app is intuitive to use, and it has a timer that includes a sunrise/sunset setting, which is perfect for how I like my plants to receive light. It has all the correct safety stamps on it and if my phone dies, I can use the control panel attached to the cord. This is the best plant light I’ve used to date!

Now this is a nice grow light! I have purchased grow lights in the past but never one this big. This one is awesome. I’m glad I spent the extra money on it. You can control the lighting time from 0-24 hours on your smartphone. This is great if you need to leave the house or go on vacation. Additionally, the light includes a magnetically attached control panel. It has 8 adjustable brightness levels. It has a 2x2 ft coverage area, it maximizes your gardening efficiency. The performance is top notch. It has aluminum honeycomb heat dissipation technology, enhancing cooling efficiency. You can hang it up or put it on the stand. It allows you to use it both ways. The pole is adjustable from 4 to 72 inches in height. Wich is great for any growing plant. The easy set up is a plus!

The fact that you can either hang or use this light with a stand is a nice feature. As you can see, we have it on the stand, which is height adjustable - another great feature. We also like that it dims - our other grow light doesn't do that, so if you're relaxing in the evening/night this is a plus in that it's not so incredibly bright on the eyes. Right now it's providing good coverage to our 3 medium-large size houseplants - I would say the 2ftx2ft coverage it advertises is accurate. We don't have this connected to the app so I can't say whether that works or not. But the controls on the remote are convenient and easy to use.

I like the remote with this grow light. I'm not a fan of apps for everything, however, the app allows you to have even more options with these lights if you use it. Personally, I'll be happy with the remote. It does what I need. The light is big and covers a good amount of area.
