Worked great for 6 months and I loved the timer feature. I had a happy office plant that grew a ton in that time. Then out of the blue, it wouldn't turn on at all, the LED's just flickered when I pressed the power button. I wish it would have lasted longer, but I can't justify buying a new one every 6 months so I'll have to look for a different replacement. Update: changing from 2 stars to 4 stars - it was just the power brick that stopped working - grabbed one of the 15 extras in my junk drawer and we’re back in business.

Don’t mind my wilting kalanchoe, it’s just losing its seasonal flowers. But I absolutely love this grow light! Im not an avid planter by any means so I don’t know much abt the light requirements etc, but it’s kept my plant alive and looks super cute with the set up I have. It’s super easy to set up and I love the adjustable height so I can raise it a bit if he starts looking crispy. My only complaint which is just me being over picky is that the timer doesn’t exactly line up with a 24 hour schedule, so I first set it to turn on at 9 and abt 3 days later it turned on at 8 and keeps getting earlier. But other wise it’s an amazing product imo.

Light is great when it works and worked perfect for my african violet; however, now after 1-1/2 years of use the light is having issues. After several weeks after use the plastic cover came unglued and had to be reglued. Now the light flickers and sometime randomly powers off. I don’t recommend buying unless you plan on buying again in 18 months, Inferior electronics and assembly from China.

My plants are happy so I'm happy. I started with one light and now I have 10 (most are the version without the bottom stand.) I've been using them for 6-8 weeks and the change in my plants is obvious. They're pushing new leaves and looking healthier overall. I've been using a grow light in my side table lamps for a couple years and it helped the plants nearby, but the plants further away needed a boost. Now I feel that all my plants are getting what they need. Also, these lights are easy to place where needed, as long as there is an outlet. I wish they could be programmed to come on and go off at a certain time, but maybe that's not realistic for what they cost. I do appreciate that it at least has a timer setting and will go off after 8, 12, or 16 hours. I also like that I can dim the light; towards evening, or when I have guests, I like to lower the brightness level.

Bought this in Jan 2024 to use in the office - plant loves it, has been growing & thriving. For the last couple of days the light had been flickering and then all of a sudden this morning it just wouldn't turn on at all.. Looked through the reviews to see if it had happened to anyone else - turns out, the little power-block is what gives out. I plugged the USB directly into my power-strip and it is back in business! :) Hope this helps someone that may be about to throw it away and buy a new one like I was.

These are very nice - they are attractive looking, fit inside of a pot which makes them super versatile, use very little power, can plug into any usb (old style) port, and have a nice wide range of heights due to telescoping. Honestly, I would be perfectly happy with these but for one major flaw - there is no way to remove the timer controller, there is no mechanical 'on' switch, and the default setting for the lights is off. What that means is that if the power goes out for you, when power is restored, these lights do not turn back on, even if you had them in the 'always on' setting. Or, if you are like me and wanted to connect them to an outlet timer to have more control over when they are on and off, you have no luck. Instead, you are forced to use one of their timer hour settings for 8,12, or 16 hours, forced to start that timer at the proper time of day the first time, and will have to redo that setting again if the power goes out. I'm hoping to alleviate this by putting a pass through charging battery pack on them, but those aren't cheap, and it's a very annoying problem to have. I'd like to be able to remove the whole controller from the cord, and thought I'd be able to. UPDATE: Still really happy with these, and my little plant that was struggling along before I bought these lights is just so much happier now. I've added more photos of the new growth.
