I bought this light for my African Violet plant, which used to produce flowers when exposed to sunlight. Unfortunately, the plant no longer has access to sunlight and stopped producing flowers. I bought this light based on the description that it has the sunlight spectrum. I installed the light, and it can only fit one plant. I installed it from over a week ago, but although the plant seems happy, there are no flowers until now. I am hoping I will see some flowers soon. I got this for my prickly pear cactus when it's raining and I have to take it inside. The timer works every time, and it is bright enough to get me by for a couple days until the rain stops.

This grow light seems to be working well for my plants. However, it's unattractive. The whole thing is an eye sore that makes my plant stand significantly more tacky. The ugliest part is the cord, which is white and very noticeable. While I wish that it was battery operated, the cord does offer one nice feature. The timer on it makes the light come on daily without my pressing the button. I didn't need to buy a separate timer to plug it into. For the first week, I thought my wife was just turning it on every day, and she thought I was. Another note: it's not an American product; it's Chinese crap. I automatically take an extra star off when rating non-American products. Unless something is particularly incredible, it's hard to convince me that foreign products are worth much. Personally, I would have opted for an all American grow light (even if that just means a full spectrum bulb in an ordinary standing lamp), but this was the one my wife wanted, and "grow light" isn't the hill I wanna die on. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are perfect for if you have big plants. I’m using one to nurse one palm tree back to health that I took in from a friend. The other one is just thriving wonderfully with it. I would definitely buy these again. I have a couple of them on my wish list for some other plants we have in our indoor garden.
