These are perfect for what I intended there used to be. They are a great compact size, hold a good amount of shells, are stackable, made out of rugged plastic they are definitely not cheap although they are extremely affordable.

Bought these for storage of parts, it’s a nice compact size, so you can organize by firearm if you have a few of them. 1 Star off for lack of gasket, as these as billed as shotgun shell holders. It’s fine if you’re using it to transport to the range, but not for storage of shells in my opinion. Also shotgun shells are light, so I’d steer clear of using these to transport centerfire ammo. ... show more

    • Perfect for lose ammo that I have low round counts of.

I reload in bulk and put lose rounds in 30 cal ammo cans. However for low volume round like 460 and 500 S&W I do not need a whole 30 cal can loaded. These are perfect for these rounds. 3 of them will stack in about the same area as (2) of the 30 cal ammo cans. These do have a plastic latch so I am not sure if they would hold up to the kind of weight that I put into 30 cal cans (1150 to 1300 rounds of 9 mm will fit into a 30 cal can, this is pretty heavy). ... show more
