This bed frame is not only mega cute, it’s pretty easy to assemble aside from the mislabeled numbers on items “09” and “10”. It should also be noted that there aren’t any pre drilled holes for the pieces that require screws to be drilled into solid wood. This was a bit of a surprise but as long as you have the right drill bits it takes maybe 1-2 hours to complete in total. It says team build (I found this only necessary when it came to putting the actual frame together (the last half of instructions) and it came together quickly. ASSEMBLY ADVICE: Get a bottle of wood glue (4oz is plenty) and use it during assembly for the head and footboard assembly (both ends). Using it on the headend slats means that they don't clack around or make a noise as they are otherwise loose in their slots. Using it on every other joint & groove where you find 'bare wood' just makes it all extra sturdy. Don't use too much glue otherwise it will ooze out or drip, but you can wipe it off. Some people have said they found it didn't quite go together right or they had to modify but mine was perfect. This goes together really easily but do follow the instructions. I bought several so the first one took longer - the main thing is to ensure that everything goes the right way up and the right way round as several parts could go either way and you don't want to take it apart and flip it once you realise - and you can't if you've glued!. In particular, ensure that the central support bar is horizontal and right under the base slats. If it's at an angle, you've got the footboard piece upside down. Note: This appears to be the same as another product under a different brand. I'd bought that one previously but it was out of stock so I bought this one instead and all parts seems to be identical. This is a great bed, we slept in it last night and it was wonderful, it goes beautifully with the white furniture we have. However, there were a couple cracks in the wood, and assembly left a little to be desired. The assembly wasn’t quite thorough enough so I ended up having to flip around a few pieces that I put on backwards because the picture wasn’t clear. Then with the slats that go under the mattress, the picture showed you making sure it was flush, but in reality, they didn’t quite fit length wise and there were some gaps; though I still think it’s sturdy enough. Also, not every part that you needed to hand screw was pre drilled, and it was too difficult to hand screw straight into the wood, so thankfully I had my own drill so I could make some holes into the wood first. If they had just done that extra step of a few pre drilled holes, I could’ve done the entire bed by hand. It was easy enough that I (30yr/f) put the bed together solo. The cracks are on the footboard, which not only was cracked but also slight bowed. It’s the only piece that isn’t real wood, so I get it, but I wish it wasn’t there. It still all fit together, and no one will notice it, but I know it’s there. ... show more

Nice looking bedframe that seems sturdy (so far). It was easy to assemble, and while it would have been quicker with two people, I was able to assemble it by myself without issue. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pieces, and think it will hold up well. It is a bit taller than I expected, I can easily slide an 11"x11" fabric bin under the bed, but since I don't have a boxspring (not required with slats), it isn't too tall for me to get into bed. The pieces are clean, well labeled, and the white paint looks nice. I would recommend this bed frame. ... show more

I love the bed! It seems fairly sturdy, but it is prices for what it’s made of. The look and functionality are perfect. However, have fun assembling… There are step by step instructions, but at times confusing as far as what direction things face because it’s only a picture for some.

This bed was delivered to my door. The package itself was narrow but extremely heavy. I ended up taking it apart and having my kids bring it to the bedroom piecemeal to assemble. Assembly instructions was relatively easy though some of the photos on orientation were wrong but my kids and I figured it out. Each wooden piece is numbered so that helped in assembly. Figuring out which screws/bolts were the correct ones was a bit tricky as some were the same size just different color. My kids and I were able to put the bed together in about 1-1.5 hrs. After putting it together I can definitely say that this is a very sturdy and well constructed bed. ... show more

The bed frame is nice and came as pictured. One piece was pretty cracked. We noticed this after beginning assembly and fixed it on our own as we did not want to dissemble and return at that point. There are also many steps with screws where the screws don’t have pre drilled holes and we had to use a small drill bit to get it started. ... show more

Today my bed arrived! It took two people about 2 hours to put together. I did find that it was so much easier to stand the headboard up and fit the slats in that way. It was much easier that way. The headboard is super short. My first impression was how much I love this bed. But I'm starting to have my doubts. It squeaks. The weight limit listed as manufacturer suggested weight limit is different than the discription. I bought this bed without reading the reviews and boy do I wish I had. I bought the bed mainly for the weight limit. So only time will tell. I will keep updating once a month to give a fair review. ... show more
