This looks and feels like a thousand dollar bed. The assembly is a little tricky with the headboard but patience is key. No trick to assembly but just doing it. I wouldn't jump on the bed due to the small legs in the center which can potentially lead to uneven pressure and break points. I did bolster the center beam with cinder blocks just in case. Would I recommend this for a full grown adults bed? No I wouldn't. It's short in terms of the height and dollhouse like. However for a teenage girl it's perfect. Her queen mattress fits perfectly. I put it together with some help from my daughter. It wasn't hard. Look at the very poorly drawn directions and go from there. Take your time.     • Need extra support for middle beam. Also the headboard slats were damn near impossible to line up.

It’s super lovely. I’m very happy with it. The only issue I have is actually a potentially serious one if you have pets that like playing under your bed. The support beam in the middle is not lined up very well. The footboard has clear pre measured holes for a good alignment but the headboard has nothing at all. So what we had to do was measure and kind of guess as best as we could. A month in I got into the bed and felt a shift like it was going to collapse. The middle beam being unaligned became the issue I was concerned about. I had to put a couple cinderblocks with some extra support in the middle beam in order to prevent collapse. I also removed the plastic nubs underneath the wooden supports so that they would be flush with the flooring as opposed to be subject to whichever imbalance the support had due to the lack of proper measurements on both the head board and foot board. Other than that I love the look and feel of it. Just make sure you are ready with extra support in that middle beam. Perhaps the company can provide better guidance and foresight on that front. The headboard by the way was nearly impossible to put together. They definitely need to make that easier. Those slats were so hard to line up perfectly. They just wouldn’t stay in place. This bed frame is not only mega cute, it’s pretty easy to assemble aside from the mislabeled numbers on items “09” and “10”. It should also be noted that there aren’t any pre drilled holes for the pieces that require screws to be drilled into solid wood. This was a bit of a surprise but as long as you have the right drill bits it takes maybe 1-2 hours to complete in total. It says team build (I found this only necessary when it came to putting the actual frame together (the last half of instructions) and it came together quickly. This is a great bed, we slept in it last night and it was wonderful, it goes beautifully with the white furniture we have. However, there were a couple cracks in the wood, and assembly left a little to be desired. The assembly wasn’t quite thorough enough so I ended up having to flip around a few pieces that I put on backwards because the picture wasn’t clear. Then with the slats that go under the mattress, the picture showed you making sure it was flush, but in reality, they didn’t quite fit length wise and there were some gaps; though I still think it’s sturdy enough. Also, not every part that you needed to hand screw was pre drilled, and it was too difficult to hand screw straight into the wood, so thankfully I had my own drill so I could make some holes into the wood first. If they had just done that extra step of a few pre drilled holes, I could’ve done the entire bed by hand. It was easy enough that I (30yr/f) put the bed together solo. The cracks are on the footboard, which not only was cracked but also slight bowed. It’s the only piece that isn’t real wood, so I get it, but I wish it wasn’t there. It still all fit together, and no one will notice it, but I know it’s there. ... show more
