If you're just starting a business, this press can be great start on a budget. It's not 'the best' by any means but I've used it well over a year and its pretty consistent. The timer can sometimes act up so keep a mental note on time incase you don't notice it didn't start after your press, but that's only happened to me twice. Once I turned it off and restarted it worked again. Only real downside is it doesn't raise very high so its easy to burn yourself sliding in a shirt if you're not careful. I have upgraded from this but it still sits as a back up in case I need to run back to 'old reliable' ... show more

I’ve had this heat press for a few weeks now. Used it multiple times on multiple substrates. I’ve not had any issue whatsoever. It seems the temp is accurate and consistent. The one and only issue I have so far is there are no antislip pads on the bottom so when you’re trying to lift up on the handle you also have to hold the base down because it either will slip or lift up with handle. I was a bit weary/scary to use a large heat press however it's been easy. Instructions are easy to follow and buttons are minimal which are good! Heat distribution have been great. Love how large the heat area is - been able to do different size shirts with ease.

My wife enjoys doing shirts and hoodies for people. She has previously used the cricket handheld press. This was a decently priced upgrade but please read! She tried it on multiple shirts for test runs and after an hour of the vinyl not sticking and the vinyl crinkling she was soooo frustrated and mad. We found out at that point the press needs to be adjusted. In the picture I point to how you adjust it. Once that was figured out it was smooth sailing! Or so we thought… my wife is 20 weeks pregnant and is short… that being said pulling down the mechanism was placing strain on her already straining abs… I am now the designated presser LOL So just be mindful that it’s a workout as well!
