It was comfortable to hold and use, and I could feel the strength and sturdiness of it when transporting my pizza. • 🧐 It was very easy to hand wash which saved me time and effort, and I really appreciated the hooked hanging handle. • 🧐 I had another oven mitt somewhere that was well-used and now worn out and not doing a very good job anymore, so when I saw that this kit contained a new one, I was excited and felt like it was a nice bonus to include 🔍✅ SUMMARY & CONCLUSION: First of all for me, I had never heard of the words “pizza peel” before, so it was kind of exciting to learn what this was. I had previously gotten round slotted no-handle pizza trays which allowed the heated air flow to circulate from the bottom to help get the crust crispier, so I was excited to see if this product would do the same thing, and it did. I don't know about you, but for me that's a good bonus and a great feature. Along with its nice aesthetics and all of its other great features, I was pleasantly surprised how much it impressed me. I appreciated that the wooden handle parts were so lightweight and sturdy in my hands, and not awkward as others I’ve tried have been because those ones seemed less stable. They were also smooth and didn’t look like that would splinter. It really did make the transferring of pizzas into and out of the pizza oven easier and more stable. I really liked that the connectable handle pieces were resizable by simply screwing into one another for easy assembly, which I found to be very useful in various situations where I actually needed a different size. Everything seemed very solid and didn’t seem to jiggle or feel weak once put together. That’s mainly what I was worried about: would it actually hold the weight of the pizza reliably so that the only thing possibly leading to the pizza dumped on my floor would be MY own clumsiness and not the fault of the peel. The adjustability of the total handle length and solid build of the “hard anodized” aluminum peel meant that I could use this in various ovens and for multiple cooking situations. And from my repeated experience, this peel does its job well and consistently each time I used it, and for both homemade and store-bought (frozen) pizzas alike. Its adjustable handles, thoughtfully designed aesthetics, durability, function, choice of materials, compact design and storage, and quality construction that I could *see* make this a good purchase and a very useful tool in my home and one I have used and will continue to use often. It makes my pizza-making experience actually more fun.
