The Piyazi snorkel and mask set is good quality for the price. The mask has a comfortable silicone skirt and tempered glass lens with an anti-fog coating; it offers a good wide expansive view. The snorkel is a dry snorkel, you can remove the dry valve but not easily so I do not believe the intent was to use the snorkel without it. The ratcheting buckle allows for easy adjustment and the snorkel has a quick release clip to attach to the mask.

This snorkel mask seems great for our beginner use - and we'll use it often. Though I won't get the chance to actually test it out for a few months, some things I note, when comparing it to a high-end brand: * The face mask is comfortable and easily adjustable with locking side snaps on the adjustment mechanism. Seems secure against it loosening during use. * The air pipe is not quite as long and without the longer flexible segment between mouth and air pipe. When trying it on, though, I think it will be fine. * The ear buds are comfortable and easy to put in / take out. * The face mask doesn't have quite as wide a flange as the big brand one. But it makes a good airtight seal anyway. It works well underwater. * The view is ok. I certainly wouldn't call it 180 degrees - you are, after all, looking through a face mask. But that's normal - the big branded one was the same. We've tried it out in the pool - it does fog up a bit despite its claim not to - but a little "anti fog wipe" on the inside works pretty well.

The mask is made with a very soft and flexible silicon type material that provides and excellent seal to prevent leaking. The tempered glass lens is a single type with gives a wider field of view than masks with duals lenses. The head strap is easy to adjust to fit and holds the mask securely with a decent level of comfort. The snorkel is of the dry top design which prevents water from entering when diving below the surface. It also has a purge valve to allow you to expel any water that does enter. The set also comes with a set of ear plugs and a nice mesh bag to keep everything together. This would be a good set for the beginner new to snorkeling.

Smells like new rubber. Band seems to be comfortable. Very light. Glass is clear and perimeter seems to be able to shut water out. Not sure anout the earplugs seem kinda small. Maybe ok for youth/kids
