My experience with this and other “inexpensive shoes” on Amazon has been very consistent. I would describe these as a good single use or light use shoe. Meaning if you have a wedding or event, these will do the job. Or if you wear them at the office and don’t spend a lot of time on hard surfaces, they will last. They look great, but are made of inexpensive material. The soles are inexpensive and will wear quickly if worn on cement or similar rough surfaces. Mine were a bit tough to get on, but once one felt good. I would recommend a shoe horn or wear thin dress socks. The $42 price tag merited the 4th star in the rating. If you are on you feet all day, I would advise against these shoes. They may hold up for a while, but long term you will probably wish you had invested in a high quality pair of shoes. ... show more

I was apprehensive of trying a shoe from a brand I've never heard of, but I can say that I'm very happy with this purchase. For some time, I've been wanting to try a shoe that is "business on top, and fun on the bottom", and this shoe fits that bill perfectly. The top is very nice looking with a red tinted brown leather finish, and the bottom is a soft, sneaker-like sole. The white really sets it apart from the boring brown shoes, and adds a more casual and stylistic component to the shoe. I must mention the packaging here. The shoe came in a regular box, but each shoe was individually wrapped in a soft cotton bag, and there was a letter included from the shoe designer. I've never had shoes at this level packaged with such care, and the letter was a very nice touch. They came packaged as if they were worth 3x the price I paid for them. It fit very well for me, but it took a little breaking in. It felt a bit narrow when I first wore it. Also, another annoyance was that the back of the shoe is slightly curved inward (like most shoes), and it was digging into my achilles heel at first. However, after a few hours of wearing the shoe, It was broken in and those problems went away. The shoe fits well now, without the issues of feeling narrow or the back digging into my leg. I would definitely recommend this shoe. The only caveat is that people with very wide feet may not fit well in these shoes. ... show more

These shoes are faux leather. They’re comfortable and breathable. After about two weeks of daily wear they begin to chip and scratch. Unfortunately, you can’t shine them to renew them.
