Bought an Alijoz for a budget musky rod and was pretty impressed, so got this for my new ice rod I had made. Super nice reel! Very smooth and feels like it’s quality. Reel handle folds down for storage which is super cool. Would definitely recommend

For small smaller spools of light mono the line lay is just fine. I tried to fill the spool up to max capacity with 10 lb power pro an past just over half way filling up the spool its line lay went fucky an from the tapered walls on the spool extending beyond the travel so I couldn't fill them up as much as I wanted but still plenty of line on them an the reels have worked very well otherwise. 28 inch steelhead first time using it.

Its quality is in line with its price point, but for a couple bucks more, you could do a lot better. Has a very cheap feel to it. So far it functions as a spinning reel, but I have serious doubts about the durability of this reel. If you think you’re getting a quality reel at a discount price, you’ll be disappointed.

Good reel for ice fishing. I Like the fold In handle. They make other higher quality reels but for the cheaper price this works good enough.
