So after hours of research and video unboxings I finally decided to just send it and get the chaos xs 40. Initial unboxing left me pretty happy. Everything is clean and ready to use. The 40 is just a little too small for me, but I’m not complaining. If you’re looking for cheap quality just get this. I’m gonna pick up 3-4 more for the winter season. I've watched many YouTube videos on this reel. Finally decided to pull the trigger and buy one. Paired it with the 8ft uglystick catfish rod and, this thing is amazing. For a sub $100 combo, it feels like it cost soluble that. Reel holds plenty of line for a 5k series, is butter smooth even with heavy fish. Caught several 20+lb carp, and many double digit cats on my first trip out with it. Considering buying a couple more!!! Love the power handle!!! ... show more

Best budget reels out there. I now have two reels because I enjoyed my first one so much. They are not top of the line obviously so they aren’t the most smooth and easy to cast. But they get the job done and are great for the money. Mine have held up well over one year of use. And I do not take the best care of my rods ... show more

This reel has been by far one of my favorites, I own a multitude of reels from spinning to baitcasters, I do recommend 100% fluorocarbon line @20lb test throws smoothly and far, bite alert system is not too loud, not heavy, very amazing.

Reels work as described gave me no problem reeling in my 110 lb blue cat, I've bought 6 of these no issues, the power handles are very nice I actually prefer them over my Abu Garcia power handles 😀

Like the reel. Surprised it works as well as it does at this price point. Will agree the clicker could be a bit louder but you can hear it. Casts very well. Would like to get another one but they raised the price about $7.00 from what I paid for the 1st one a week or so ago. Will wait for it to come back down or find a different reel that's similar. ... show more
