Just pure quality. We'll see how it holds up for the long haul. Very smooth and accurate spooling right out of the box. Center shaft was already well lubed and bail was also smooth. I would prefer an anti-reverse switch, but can get by without it due to the looser drag settings I use. And when they tell you it is 6.1 oz., believe it. Also pairs very well with a Falcon BRS-2-159 available on sale elsewhere. Amazing rod. ... show more

My first time out with it I caught 3 walleye and the reel performed great. No real issues to complain about. If I was to be nit picky... The drag adjustment is pretty quick. You set the hook and decide to make an adjustment, only give it a few clicks. It tightens and loosens quickly. For the price it's pretty great. ... show more

this is by far my favorite spinning reel, for the price! for a $60 reel, you just cant beat this. a metal frame, 11 ball bearings, and for a 2000 size reel, weighing at 7.5oz, thats awesome! yes you find other reels thats lighter, etc etc, like a daiwa fuego, but you'll be paying over $100 easily. this reel is super smooth and ive caught tons of fish on it already, no issues. planning to get a couple more to replace my older reels. ... show more
