This works great. I searched online for something to help me do an online class with teacher. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for, but I had to televise a piano session. My webcam - not included - easily clips and unclips into harness at top. Long pole can flex in any shape and feels STURDY, and clip on bottom clamps onto my desk. The only negative I would give it, is strength of clip at bottom, if you wanted to fix it to something permanently. But it worked perfect for my application. Anybody with an external webcam should have one. And a long USB cord - not included.

The gooseneck is STRONG. Bending this thing into the exact position I wanted was a workout. I also do not recommend trying to bend it into shape while it's clamped on to your desk, it's much easier to bend it into shape before clamping. I needed something to mount my webcam on that would point down at my working surface and not at my face, and this worked perfectly for that. The neck is long enough to get high enough off my desk to give a clear view of everything. Besides the flexible neck, there's also multiple adjustments on the mount itself (ball joint, 360-degree rotation, and a ~160-degree hinge. Once I got the camera into the position I wanted, it was very easy to fine-tune the angle and rotation.

I have a laptop and a separate wide screen monitor, so I need to adjust my webcam to different angles from time to time when I am having a virtual meeting. I used to use a tripod but it has its limitations, therefore I decided to give this product a try. Since the side of my desk is a bit too wide to clamp the stand on, so I use the shelve on the book shelve instead (see pictures). The clamp and flexible neck are strong, so I don't believe the webcam will come loose in normal use. You may want to adjust the neck and place the webcam in the approximate position you want it first before you clamp down the stand because the neck is very stiff and not that easy to adjust. The clamp has protected pads that help protect the furniture surface and has pretty strong clamping force; the flexible neck is very strong too and should be able to handle the weight of most, if not all, webcams; the webcam adapter head came preassembled even though one of the product pictures show the steps to put them together (I did not dissemble it to see if it comes with all the different parts since I don't need to, my webcam screwed right on) I did not give it a 5-star rating because I think the clamp can be designed better so that the clamps do not clamp down at an angle, and the gooseneck can be a tad easier to adjust. All and all, I am satisfied with the purchase and will recommend it to my friends and family.

I would say its a solid product. However, the clamp that holds the desk requires A LOT of strength just to open it up. The desk I have is shaped weirdly so I even thought it would have grasp of the entire desk. So now, it just sits on the edge. One day, the desk moved so much, you could hear a loud CLAP, and the entire thing tumbles to the ground. Regardless, it does it's job, but if you dont like the position, it isn't flexible. So you need to use both of your arms just to get it in the right position you want it.

I didn't want to attach my webcam to the top of my monitor because the bezel is tiny and it would have blocked a small portion of the screen. I found this flexible mount and decided to give it a try. The gooseneck is rigid and getting the positioning correct took about 15 minutes but the result is perfect. The webcam sits just above the top of my monitor and can be angled however I like due to the knuckleball at the end of the gooseneck; it's rock solid. Great product.

I bought this in July of ‘23 for my webcam. Within days, the pads of the base clip fell off. I would stick them back in place, but they would fall out again every time I needed to move the camera. The base clip itself is weak. As I moved the camera, the top clip would bend and fall over, so I would use pliers to shape it back into clip-able use. After months of this futility, I ended up going back to the laptop. During my office winter clean, I finally threw this useless xamera stand away - it had been leaning up against my bookshelf for months.

Some reviewers complained about how stiff this thing is, but I personally prefer it that way. It is a little stiff when you first get it, but I expect it to loosen up over time. I'd rather have it really stiff now instead of dealing with a flimsy goose neck that doesn't stay exactly where you put it. This thing stays where you put it. It might take a little muscle to bend it where you want it, but I'm glad that it stays there and doesn't budge. It's a good product.

I bought this for just over 20 bucks thinking it’s gonna be made terribly and wouldn’t be able to hold a webcam for long. Let me tell you how wrong I was! This things so sturdy I could beat someone over the head with it atleast 15000 times and I believe it would still function properly!
