Great amp for the money, exceeded rating by a good margine, running two 6.5 JBL 100w and a pioneer 10" sub for a garage box with a Android headunit, and it sounds great. Doesn't pull crazy current, about 25a at full tilt, and is clean at 138w per channel for the 6.5 and 248w for the sub. Definitely worth every penny. For all the reviews saying it gets hot or cuts off and on, set your gains correctly, get a cheap Oscope and set them so you are not clipping, I got mine to 16.75v on every channel with no clipping and it will play all day long and barely get warm. Very thrilled with this Pioneer GMA4704 car amp, thumps hard with my dual 12's in sealed box. Ridiculously loud bass that never clips while only drawing 30 amps of current! For comparison, my other Alpine amp (500 x 1) has TWO fuses on it, each rated at 40 amps.

It's larger than I would have liked, not gonna fit under seats, but it just barely fit under my dash like I had planned. Good enough for what I wanted does not get hot but I'm not driving it hard.

Amp was needed for a 2012 dodge 3500 that was being completely re-wired. Speakers originally had were not compatible so make sure before buying the speakers you do have will work otherwise you will be buying new ones.
