Works great for our 2002 GMC Sierra. The 2002 has a weird 1.5 DIN size so we were worried about fitment but the adjustability in the head unit mounting made it great. The only concern is the shift level is very close to the screen ONLY in park. So this is not a deal breaker you just can't have anything in your hand when shifting into park or you will hit the radio screen. We added a park break input so we can "allegedly" run video anytime. I also really liked the old skool USB option so I could add a mini flash drive for music and videos. ... show more

The good: looks great in my car and has good sound The bad: the lag, the lag is everywhere. The touchscreen works terrible, there is a lag every time you try to do anything, feels like a really old and cheap tablet. Android auto volume stops working for some devices (volume bar looks grey out). Reconnect, or pairing again doesn't fix the issue. Too expensive and with lots of problems. Not happy ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The features included and the audio quality is great and the screen has very nice viewing angles, and wireless CarPlay is nice and connects quickly, however, the user interface is SO slow and sluggish it can be overwhelming, after the latest update it improved a little bit but is not the fastest and responsive stereo I ever had, for example, turning volume up or down it responds like a 1-1.5s after you pressed the button (no matter if the command comes from the steering wheel controls or directly from the screen keys) I have mixed feeling about this unit but is actually the cheapest one for a screen of this size. Kinda could recommend it if you want a great audio quality product and use the basic features such as CarPlay, but if you feel like you want a headhunt with fast response and smooth transitions maybe is not the one I'd recommend. It's like a bittersweet feeling about this item. ... show more

Awesome head unit. Easy to install and has a lot of great features. I replaced an old Pioneer AVIC-D3 with this unit in my GMC pickup and I love it!! The Apple Car Play was the selling point for me as I already have it in my Nissan Altima and wanted a seamless experience when switching between my vehicles. All my life since driving I have been a pioneer fan. This was my latest update and I just love the big screen. Went into a 2005 Chevy 2500hd. Without any amp changes from my last head unit this thing sound way better. Gonna sound even better after tuning on the amps.

    • Great aftermaket unit with floating display

Installed in my car after previous Pioneer unit died. Installation went smoothly because the wiring harness for Pioneer units remains compatible after 10+ years. Only needed to flash iDataLink Maestro to enter the new serial number. Works great and the big floating display looks badass.
