I got this for my daughter to learn the basic tools, their purpose, and when certain tools are used over others. The color is great to get younger kids (specifically my daughter) into owning their own tools and using them. This is a pretty basic set. If you're an adult looking into this for yourself, this will be enough to hang picture in your home. The quality of tools is mediocre. The reason I gave this a 5/5 star is because the quality isn't exactly in question when the price is THIS low. The tools do function as intended for light duty tasks. These aren't Milwaukee or Craftsman or DeWalt etc... this is a basic starter kit for a basic purpose. I do find the case to be pretty nice though. It keeps all of the items in place and neatly organized. Great for keeping under a sink or in a closet. I personally love this set for my daughter. She is a bit young for tools, but she loves helping me out when I'm working on my vehicle, doing woodworking, hanging pictures, building some ikea furniture her mom bought... etc. This little tool kit will provide my child with the knowledge to be a little more independent and knowledgeable as she progresses through her life. I will also note that my daughter's mom likes this for hanging stuff up like seasonal decorations.     • Fine for just starting out....
this set is for my daughter who will soon move into her own apt. It includes the basic tools needed for simple repairs and home improvement projects. The total piece count includes the nails, screws, washers, etc... that are included in the kit, also. The tools are basic and work for the intended function but these are not likely going to work for any significant carpentry or repair projects. The power screwdriver has less than half the power of our typical power screwdriver. The level, putty knife, wrench, pliers, tape measure, etc... are fine, but again, not meant for significant projects. With that said, I am certain over time, these tools will be replaced with a more durable version, but for just starting out, this is fine. If you are seeking something more durable, you may be better off picking up quality tools as the opportunity presents and have a set that will last for decades, rather than something that will likely need to be replaced in the future regardless-- either due to quality or need. ... show more

my daughter is going off to college in August. she has grown up kowing how to use basic tools and has helped me with many projects house and vehicle related, she has always used my tools and has always been comfortable around basic tool usage since she was small. this is a very basic kit, but i figured it would be adequate for anything she would need in a dorm like putting together cheap dorm furniture (or repairing them...i remember my college days) the tools are no means professional grade but they will absolutely handle weekend warrior tasks. nice compact kit perfect for a dorm, vehicle, or apartment ... show more

I'm really not big on the whole pink tool kit set but I needed some tools for just quick repairs around the house without having to go down to my basement and get into my heavy duty sets. This is a pretty decent tool kit. You're going to get a putty knife, some pliers and scissors, and adjustable wrench, Hammer hex keys level, fasteners, measuring tape, and screwdrivers. The screwdriver is kind of nice because it's a USB charge instead of batteries. Although I'm going to have to remember to charge it so that might not be as positive as it seems at first. It is a very sturdy toolbox. Latches up pretty nicely and everything fits inside. The screwdriver I just finished charging and it does have a light on it when you go to use it which is really helpful. This is perfectly presented to make a great housewarming or graduation gift. Everyone needs a set of basic tools. This reminds me of the tool box my father made for me himself in the 90s- but ready made and good to go. It even inclues a small drill! The media could not be loaded. I do not have much need for tools in my normal day to day life but this set is great and has everything I’d need for random uses around the house. Hanging pictures, tightening screws on furniture, etc - it’s all here! Plus, pink!
