I needed a headset that wasn't going to have a mic that sounded like it was going through a garbage disposal, so that's nice this one does do the job. It generally sounds clear and your voice isn't garbled. The only issue is these do say noise canceling, but these actually pick up more background noise than most of my other headphones, so I'm not entirely sure about the noise cancellation. The sound is okay, kinda hurts my ears, it's a little too sensitive on the sound or something, songs/sounds that should be quieter or more smoothed out on other headphones, seem to have a higher pitch or the way it's received is much louder, piercing to the ears with these, can't really explain. I have to adjust the sound a lot in voice calls and audio because it's sometimes too low or too loud. And it kinda hurts my head to wear these, they don't entirely go over your ears either, the lower part sort of stays upward off your ears, I'm not sure if it's intended to be that way, but it's turned out that way on 2 pairs. They're kind of tight and squeeze your head, not the most comfortable admittedly. Other than that, they're pretty good headphones for the price, good for recording, but I recommend a quiet room, since these aren't the best with canceling background noise, sort of cancels your own voice somewhat too. I'm super impressed!!! And I originally didn't think I was going to be. These even came with the aux adapter for microphone and voice chat that I've been needing for my computer. I'll be able to use this on Xbox and PC! The noise cancelling is 10/10. I tested these out by listening to a song on youtube. I heard background music that I wasn't able to notice on an average speaker/phone, which is why I rushed to write a review! It was awesome. They're very light weight and seem a little fragile on the buttons piece on the string, but just take good care of it and I'm sure it'll last. ... show more

These won't plug into my non-Nintendo controller (needs USB-C connection) unfortunately, but they ended up working great for my work from home set up.
