Super graphics.
Awesome headset, once you figure out how to connect/use it properly. Not intuitively obvious as to how to set it up. LOTS Of youtube videos thatstear you wrong. Finally found one that showed whatworked with my set. Great now it works. Now back to youtube to get the most out of it. It would have been nice to have some instruction. None included, none on website. Luckily there’s youtube. Tech support? HA! Good joke. ... show more

Pimax, the ultimate in VR headsets! (now if I could only get the thing to work!)
This headset is kind of expensive and I wouldn't have guessed that once I opened the box, the left controller was dead on arrival! I have submitted a "ticket" and anxiously awaiting their response. Over 2K in USD and it's not able to be used out of the box? I will submit another review after I, hopefully, hear back from them on the problem. I purchased this item through Amazon because I live in Alaska and Pimax does not ship to Alaska. With that said, how will I get a replacement for the DOA left controller. Stay tuned if you care to read about what happened. I will post it the minute I hear back or know anything about my "ticket" ... show more

“Pimax Crystal Super: The Ultimate VR Headset for Enthusiasts”.
The Pimax Crystal Super is, without a doubt, the best VR headset I’ve ever used. It’s a top-tier device, with stunning image quality and an incredible field of view. If you’re an advanced VR enthusiast, look no further. Compared to the Quest 3, which feels almost like a toy, the Pimax surpasses it in every way: comfort, resolution, and accuracy ... show more

The best visuals in VR.
This headset is amazing! It arrived in great condition and to my surprise included the (normally extra) DMAS headphones and additional headstrong for comfort.

Beautiful, but a quality lottery
Amazing image. Whether you get one that functions exactly as it should is a bit of a lottery. My first one had a scratched lens. Returned it and they inadvertently sent me the 57 ppd version. Then they sent me another 50 ppd version, but the fans on it make a very obnoxious buzzing sound that wasn’t the case with the other headsets. I’m still working on getting that resolved. In short, image quality is excellent, but it may or may not be worth the headaches to get a fully functioning unit. ... show more

Clear on center directly forward, blurry everywhere else.
57 PPD variant not suitable for my use of flight simulation. Detail clarity is amazing, but ONLY in a narrow field of view directly forward. If I glance anywhere off-center, the view becomes blurry and text becomes unreadable. This appears to be a common complaint with the 57 PPD. Based on my research, the 50 PPD is much more forgiving when glancing off-center, even if it has slightly less overall resolution. The problem with the PPD appears to be related to the lenses, because the 2D repeat on the flat monitor looks perfectly clear everywhere. Returning to swap for the 50 PPD. Pimax support was responsive and recommended returning. The headset is also heavy and not very comfortable. Will probably try the 50, with the extra padding face cushion. Received the 50, it is much better for my purposes. Keeping the 50. ... show more

Amazing Flagship Product
This is the shiznit. For the price, it is the flagship VR headset of the field. I'm very happy with it. It is a little heavy (compared to my last HP Reberb G2) but not uncomfortable. VERY IMPORTANT to keep with 90Hz with MSFS 2024, or you will encounter some aweful lag.

Top tier hardware. Be patient with setup. It takes some time to get settings optimal to your specific pc and software you’re using.
