Cant swallow pills. I have been using this pull crusher for many many years. I have tried others and they dont compare. This one is tje nest at crushing pills to dust.

Really nice pill crusher. I like the way it works (so simple), but it doesn't handle the (sugar coating standard on lots of meds). I definitely would buy it again, . . . you won't find a better deal on cost and it is an easy product to use, even if you have weak hands.

Am I the only one who likes to tweak products to suit myself? After going through 6 of the cheapo pill crushers in as many months, I bought this set. To ensure that the bottom part won't break, I cover the entire bottom between the 3 legs with hot glue, then make a base that the legs fit into out of bake-to-harden clay and glue it onto the feet, then glue a 1/4"-thick piece of foam on the clay base so it's soft to my hand. At the same time, I add hot glue to the capped pill reservoir, then cap it and dip the top in Plasti-dip a couple of times so it's extra soft in my hand. It's ultra durable, and will never need to be replaced. Works like a dream. I use it twice a day. Going on 4 years old and I expect it'll last to be used by my grandchildren's grandchildren. And I still have the 2nd one for their grandchildren to use. Talk about getting my money's worth...

I have to give my dog medicine three times a day and hide it in his food. No other method works. I used to wrap the pills in waxed paper and crush them with a crab mallet, The pills didn't crush well and the waxed paper often tore, leaving a mess. I recently bought these pill crushers and it was like dying and going to heaven. They are easy to use, easy to clean, and the pills crush into a fine powder which is easily mixed in his food. I only wish I had discovered these long ago. The crusher comes in two pieces which are easy to wash and dry; I find it good to have two, as you can wash one and the other is still ready for use. I highly recommend this item.

The grip is good and I simply turn it about 300 times quickly with short turns to pulverize my pill into a fine dust which is just perfect for what I need it for. No, I am not shooting it! Let's just say I like the smell of it. Used 5 or 6 times a day, I replace it with a new one a few times a year as the more use it gets the less work it takes to do the job with a brand new one than an older well used one. I also have an issue swallowing some very large uncoated pills and I will use it to grind a pill and put it in a small glass of juice or water so I can drink it right down. Or I pour the water or juice right into the container after I pulverize it and drink it. Some of those vitamin C or B12 pills are HUGE and sometimes my throat tightens up and I cannot swallow a large pill without gagging or it getting stuck and having to control the panic reflex. I highly recommend it and I usually buy several of them and store them so when one gets worn down to the point I cannot grind it as quickly as usual, I simply grab a new one and toss the old one away.

This crusher works well and crushes even big pills. My only complaint is it's just not comfortable on my hands when I am crushing. I use it twice a day every day and I find it uncomfortable in my bottom hand.

I have an elderly shih Tzu and have been giving her medication for nearly 2 years. It's been very difficult, I've been cutting the pills in half and putting them in whatever she will eat (she is very picky and I often waste pills because she won't eat the food). Sometimes it's hot dogs, she'll eat, sometimes Spam, or canned cat food. She'll pick out the tiny pieces and leave them on the floor. The pill crusher enables me to turn the pill into powder and I put it in a little warm half and half and so far she's loving it.
