So I decided that it was time to do something about my health because ever since my youngest son was born I had a hard time keeping things on track. However, unfortunately I got so out of shape that I really didn't know where to start. For a while I was going to very early morning classes at a gym which I did like but as my children schedules have changed that time of day no longer works for me. I just bought this Pilates bar and have been using it for just a few days but what I like about it is. I definitely feel like it's easy enough for me to get started yet at the same time I feel that resistance and that I know that as long as I can control what I eat and continue to do this each day I will see some kind of difference. At this point in my life, my goal is more about my health than what I look like, but if I end up looking decent, that wouldn't be a bad thing either. So if you're somebody who's afraid to get started, this is a good tool to help you because it isn't that difficult but at the same time you definitely feel like you're getting a workout. The bar is great! I used a YouTube video to do a Pilates bar workout and I noticed that this bar was actually better designed than the YouTube creator’s one (plus it’s way cuter). My only concern is that there were no general instructions on how to start with it if you’re a beginner. Like it has these adjustable length straps and I still have no idea what the purpose of that is. What do I need to set it at? Do I need to change it depending on the exercise? I just kind of set it to equal lengths and went from there and it works so 🤷♀️ I do want to add that the customer service is amazing. The kit comes with a thank you letter and there’s a customer service email if you have any issues. This in itself is amazing in this day and age where companies are purposefully making it near impossible to contact them. But I actually received a damaged bar (carrier issue) and COFOF replied to me that same day and got a pristine replacement out to me within 2 days. I received the replacement today and after it’s first use I know it’ll be a staple in my workout routine from now on! ... show more

My issues are the buttons that hold the bar together are visible when put together. Also, the connection points are wobbly. It wobbles back and forth with some of the leg exercises, and bends with the arm exercises. I would suggest going with a bar that screws together. I have amended my review due to the the stellar customer service. The company contacted me and issued a full refund. They are also sending me a new threaded bar for me to try:). I am blown away.
