The paper money slot works like a vending machine and pulls the bill in. The safe plays music while cash money is being taken in. The coin slot in the top drops the coin into the main compartment. It makes a beep sound when entering each number for the access code. When opening the door, it makes a creaking sound that comes from the speaker. The ATM will give a reminder beep occasionally if the door is left open for too long. The code is easy to change and there is a backup method to get you in, if you forget the code. The volume is not adjustable, but if desired, you could place something over the speaker opening to muffle the sound. The only downside I see is when you open the safe. There needs to be a tray or lip inside to keep the coins from sliding out when the door is open. Keep the safe tilted back slightly when opening to keep the coins from spilling out. This is a fun gift that holds money, but it does not keep a running total of what is deposited into the safe. It is a fancy piggy bank that kids will enjoy.

I have a lot of coins laying around the house, and needed some way to store them other than stuffed in a random drawer. This machine has the ability to store both coins, and dollar bills. The device does open from the front, so it does mean that any coins will spill out upon opening if you overfill it. Just keep that in mind!

I highly recommend this little ATM machine. You can pick your own pin. It’s loud enough for you to hear it. It helps teach little ones how to save their money. It seems really durable and appears like a fun piggy bank. So far performance is everything I had hoped. I definitely recommend this product! And it’s really fun!

We already had one of these so of course, had to upgrade my daughters. It works well and was super easy to setup. She loves it, especially the fun sound effects! So far she’s dropped it a few times already and it’s held up great.

3 of my kids have these and they work great for the most part. They have a spot for coins that you drop in and spot in the front that will grab paper money. The 2 things I'm not a fan of is how loud the noises are it makes, you cannot turn the volume down, and that sometimes the door gets stuck or jammed.

I got this from my four-year-old as she is starting to be interested in money. She loves it and could play with it for hours. She loves how it takes in the dollar bills, and how she can drop the coins. I would share all of her feelings about it if it was about half as loud. I don’t know why they need to make children’s toys so loud and I wish there was a control setting.

This is a large container solid made out of plastic. The buttons work relatively well and you turn the knob to open the door. You can change the combination. And if you hit certain keys, you also can have some music play. If you enter the wrong code or the right code you get a woman’s voice with a heavily Asian accent telling you the code was right or incorrect code. Please try again, along with the electronic voice, makes it hard for kids to understand however, the keys light up either green or red making it easy to tell if it was correct or not. It is a large interior which my son has found. He can put some things that he values other than money in there as well and lock up, which is a nice feature I haven’t thought about.
