Great camera , crappy mount. The camera itself is excellent but the mount is not only sub standard, but close to useless. The camera uses a 1/4 inch screw in mount as most sport cameras do. I found a stem mount made for a go pro that absolutely kills it.

~~~ VIDEO QUALITY ~~~ It's advertised as "crisp 1080p HD" but since it uses an old codec and a cheap camera sensor you can think of it as a 480p video you'd see on YouTube. There is no stabilization so the videos look shaky. The audio quality is terrible. It splits and stores the videos in 10-minute pieces. The size of each piece depends on what you are recording. If you record a static object indoors it will consume 400 MB per 10 minutes. If you record outdoors while moving it will consume 1.2 GB. ~~~ VIDEO FORMAT ~~~ File format: .MOV MPEG-4 (3GPP Media Release 4) bits/pixel*frame: 0.068 (low) FPS: 29.970 Color space: YUV Bit depth: 8 bits Audio Stream: AAC Low Complexity, 32 kb/s, 16 kHz, 2 channels ~~~ RECORDING PROBLEM ~~~ After 2 hours of continuous recording and flashlight beaming, the blue indicator light stopped blinking and the device stopped recording, while the flashlight kept beaming. After a restart it resumed recording for a few more minutes before stopping again. In the following days I used it to record my 20-minute commute twice a day and there were no recording issues. So maybe the camera malfunctions only if you let it run along with the light for too long. ~~~ MICRO SD CARD ~~~ The card says it's 64 GB and that's what it shows in Windows Explorer but it doesn't hold more than 33 GB of video. After recording 30 video files (5 hours total), the device deletes the oldest video to write the new one. ~~~ FLASHLIGHT ~~~ Good enough at night. ~~~ INSTALLATION ~~~ Easy to install. The holder allows you to rotate the device at whatever angle you want. ~~~ BATTERY LIFE ~~~ Video only: 10 hours (as advertised) Light only: 4.5 hours ~~~ VERDICT ~~~ It's useful if you want to record your short commute for insurance and safety. Not useful if you want to record fine details, beautiful scenery, or long countryside trips. I'm keeping it because it's good enough for my needs. ... show more

I bought this sports camera for my bike because I needed a practical option that would allow me to record my routes and at the same time improve visibility at night.
